I have used the Keener's automotive shop for several years. This is one of the best and most trustworthy auto shops in Manatee county. The service is always great and affordable.

This place is simply the BEST. They are honest as the day is long. I took my car in today for a some kind of leak. The mechanic himself called and explained to me the problem. He said that it was a small leak so I could fix it now or wait. Waiting wouldn't hurt anything and it wouldn't cost more money to wait.

Now that is honest. Most repair shops would scare you into doing something right now. I love this place.

Here's the scenario: Jeep Wrangler with significant performance and body modifications survived five years overseas and the tender ministrations of a pretty good Nnapulitano mechanic (loved his Maserati) but not the dreck inflicted by the 'specialized' electrician.
So within four hours of the DoD releasing the vehicle in the US, we took it to Keener's. Poor Derek spent a week on it; redoing the entire wiring system and all the routine maintenance we couldn't get done in half a decade. Talk about a happy car. And everything was done within budget.
You just can't argue with a place that's recommended by your dentist, your cardiologist AND your Civil (in both definitions of the word) attorney of 28 years.

The folks at Keener automotive have been taking care of my vehicle and several friends vehicles for several years now. They have always treated me very fairly and have done an excellent job in maintaining my vehicles. Their pricing is fair and their service is prompt. It is a family run business and they really care
about their customers. I recommend them highly.

I been using Keener for over three years for my various older vehicles. Fair prices and when my truck slipped a serpentine belt x2, Charlie fixed the problems without re-charge, luckily I had AAA for towing or else I would have been out of thousand dollars for the two loose/mid alignment mishaps. Charlie will fix what you request to fix, but be advised he will not suggest any other symptoms be fixed, AEB a long road breakdown of my older truck +30 years old, and a breakdown in Gainesville FL with a water pump, throwing the fan and luckily it didn't wipe out the radiator. Thank God for the AAA wrecker driver taking me and my two dogs to Pep Boys to spend the night in parking lot without police harassment, and getting an emergency water pump replacement, and the new addition of Pep Boys credit. I still take my vehicles to Keener's and will make sure I specify what all needs to be accomplished and hope I have covered all areas to prevent another breakdown. It's what I can expect with older vehicles.

Took my vehicle when it was on the fritz. Fair pricing and great service. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I can honestly use the words "reliable, ethical, professional" to describe this business. Charlie, Betsy and the technicians at Keener take pride in their work and stand behind it. I will not use any other repair facility for non-factory warranty work. They are simply the best. Reasonable rates and prompt courteous service. They genuinely appreciate their customers.

Charlie has been maintaining my cars for at least 5 years. He is fair and honest and always on time. I know if he says something needs to be replaced or fixed that I am not being ripped off. Keener's is a very honest business and zI would highly recommend them.
