When people in town are in the mood for a great, homestyle meal, they come to Kaylee's Farmhouse for a few reasons. For one, everyone's welcome here: families, students, campers, and people who are just out here fishing. They also visit us for the tradition behind our extensive menu, making sure each dish is what our guests expect, made with real ingredients from our favorite Southern-style recipes. But the main reason people have been coming here for over a decade is because, in a small-town like ours, we're a place where people can make memories, make friends, and (most importantly) fill up on great food.

There is a little "breakfast buffet" on the weekend mornings which doesn't offer a huge selection of food items. They have GREAT friendly service. The interior looks pretty dirty but this is a small town restaurant. They DO NOT accept credit or debit cards.

I had a baked ham and cheese sandwich dressed with tomato, lettuce, and mayo. They are generous with the ham and it was moist and tender. The special included potato soup. It had big soft chunks of potato and a flavorful broth. The prices were low. They do not take cards so make sure you have cash beforehand. We will definitely come back the next time we visit LBL!

If you want a fresh breakfast prepared perfectly.... this is your place. Biscuits are so light they float! Going back tomorrow morning !

My Husband and I stopped for Breakfast here Yesterday. He found this Restaurant in Yelp.We were pleasantly surprised by the phenomenal Waitress We had. Her a name is Karen...And She was tops with Her Customer Service. The food was delicious...And We will definitely go back there when We are in KY....

Only drawback is that they allow people to smoke. Make sure to bring cash as they do not accept credit cards andthey close daily at 2:00 pm.

I absolutely love KayLees. They have the best breakfast around this area. I have ordered their 2 eggs over medium, sausage patties, and their biscuits and gravy. Heaven on a plate. Everything is always cooked to perfection and very fresh. Marylou the owner does a great job running the restaurant. And, Kathy the head cook is great. She knows what she is doing. Teresa the main server, is so good at what she does. Everyone that works there is so friendly, helpful, and a great group of people. On the weekends they have a breakfast buffet. OMG it is so good. They offer the standard foods on the buffet, but everything is so good. They also have a very good lunch menu with daily lunch specials. They will not disappoint either. This is a great mom and pop place that is open for breakfast and lunch that is very clean and well maintained. They do not except credit or debit cards, so make sure you have cash. Enjoy when you visit.
