Katrina's Cafe

Not sure which was better, the food or the service! I have been here a few times and the food and service are consistently amazing!
It is a sweet local cafe with a very comfortable and homey vibe.
Breakfast and lunch only. You might have to wait for a seat- but the food comes pretty quick.
All of the staff are very fun but still professional. It's the perfect breakfast experience!

What is up with the attitude??? Who's the customer? I work at restaurants, and I definitely understand short staffed business or just not having a good day. But everyone definitely got some attitude on them at this place. If you want tips maybe act like you are serving "US" instead of us serving you.

ps: We were in the middle of ordering, and the lady just walked away randomly, and she never came back. It wasn't even busy, we asked like 20 times for a refill no one came check on us.

Katrina's- located in Auburn. Yummmmmm. First timer here. Had the mushroom, onion, cheese omlette. First off that was huge. It came with toast of my choice and fresh fruit or potatoes. I chose the unhealthy one. The potatoes were so good! I also got the blood orange mimosa! So yummy! Very well priced! Huge menu! Beautiful location! Nice outdoor patio!

Great service. Everyone was so friendly! Would definitely come back!

Probably our sixth visit for breakfast and the crew is always kind & the food is good.
I had the bacon, Swiss & spinach Omelet with country potatoes. Hearty bacon loaded Omelet was hot and fresh ,plentyof spinach, cheese & grilled onions& and enough for two. The Mrs ordered healthy and had the oatmeal with fresh fruit, brown sugar, and cream on the side. Good local fruit, refreshing, and plenty to eat.
We sat outside and enjoyed the fall weather. Not too busy on a Thursday about 11am.

Katrina's is a sweet, little, local café that provides great home-cooked, delicious breakfast and lunch with fresh ingredients. My plate of breakfast is served hot, colorful, tasty, and perfect for me to enjoy. The portion is generous so prepare to share if you don't want to fill up your belly before a hike.

The staff are friendly, efficient, and attentive. The customers seem to be happy and fun, for sure enjoying their meals. I like the style and the atmosphere at the Katrina's.

Sometimes it gets busy but it's worth the wait. Parking is ample.

I can't wait to be back. Try it. You will be glad like I did.

Amazing breakfast and lunch. Some favorites are the lemon pancakes and both Cobb and apple chicken salad. The lemon cakes are for bfast or dessert later. My cheat day place!!!

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the entire Sacramento area. I've been to a bunch of places and tried all sorts of items, but Katrina's is like Crack, once you get a taste you'll never get enough!

My definite must try items are

Lemon Yogurt Pancakes because they are packed with a perfect balance of lemon flavor and the texture is just so soft and spongy I love them!

Chicken Fried Steak and Biscuits because I've never had such and perfect balance of flavor in my chicken fry and they top it with the best gravy I've ever eaten. It doesn't have a very strong breakfast sausage flavor in the gravy which makes it perfect because I just want to keep on eating it! Lol

Food and service are great. We are giving them 4 stars because the space it's too small. We do not know what to do with our legs or arms to keep them out of the way. It's also Q little loud.

Our must stop for breakfast on our way to/back from Sacramento.

Glorious mimosas, excellent food and stellar service.

On our last stop we enjoyed the Supreme Sandwich (avocado, tomato, shrimp and melted cheese on English muffin) with a side of French onion soup. My BF had chorizo Benedict with a side of biscuits and gravy.

The blood orange mimosas were delicious. Black berry garnish was a nice touch.

Thanks for the food , the service and the flexibility of providing coffee to go.

DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER...My daughter had recommended this place for breakfast. We went to try it. I was extremely disappointed with the service that myself and family received. I felt the need to share. The level of service was far below expectations and left me feeling like an undervalued customer, also left me feeling frustrated. Did not receive recommendations of food, menu was not explained not even my daughter asked what came on the burger, the server stated very condescending plain everything comes on the side. My daughter advised she was lactose was the reason she was asking. The server acted like she did not want to assist us when she first came out. Also treated the people that were going to join us, sit at a separate table. I paid in advance and left $5. tip on both ticket due to the service received. The service was very unacceptable.

My wife and I stopped and had breakfast here on our way home from Nevada .eggs were spot on potatoes were tasty first place potatoes were not buried in onion and bell pepper they were perfect for my wife she don't like onion or bellpeppers. We enjoyed our breakfast service was spot on, she was very nice. Place was kinda small reminded me of a small dinner out in the middle of nowhere very quiet. nothing better than to have a nice quiet breakfast with my wife. Would definitely come back , oh by the way biscuits and gravy meh average
