Kanpai Sushi Bar & Fusion

Love, love, love. We come often and always are happy and full. The food is amazing, with beautiful presentation. This restaurant could be a stand out in a large city, but is nearly a secret in Jackson. Great service, too. The ginger dressing is the best I've had, and the chicken teriyaki is my go-to fave.
I'm not a sushi eater but I'm told theirs is great.
Give this hidden gem a try!

Mei Fun noodles It cost me $30. For some boiled rice noodles w/boiled shrimp. It had no flavor but a hint of chicken broth
I could not eat it because it tasted worse than noodles in the packs at the store. I called and asked and he confirmed that the shrimp were boiled with the noodles. The menu is misleading. This is supposed to be stir fried

Ordered the mermaid salad and it was not good at all. It tasted like someone dumped a whole can of hot chili powder on it. When I asked for something different as this was inedible, I was told I would have to pay for another dish. As you can tell by the picture, I didn't eat too much of it and it took 3 glasses of water to cool my tongue and lips to a tolerable point. Also, the waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu either. I am sad by this as I have been a loyal customer. I will be doing business with Asia Garden in the future as it is obvious that Kanpai does not know how to take care of customers.

Kanpai is a fantastic spot in Jackson to go get sushi. Big time underrated and not talked about enough. Been here multiple times and it's never disappointing. Always leave more than full. Prices are fair but the lunch portion was a great size for its value. Taste great and the service was fine. One of my favorite sushi places in the area

I love this place their food is the closest I've gotten to my all time favorite sushi bar. The staff is nice and food is good.

Burnt Softshell crab. Rotten Seaweed, Horrible. Left it. Paid bill and left.

I get it. I moved here from DFW. Worked for California companies and ate a lot of Japanese food including Japan.

They haven't printed enough money to live in California but this is just bad. I paid, gave the waitress a $10 cash tip (not her fault) and went to Henderson McDonalds and had a Filet of Fish and fries.

After also leaving post on their Facebook page (the reviews are disabled hmm) an employee commented my order and asked if I was hot why order soup. She deleted it but I still have the notification. Stay away from this restaurant. They are far from professional. Do yourself a favor and just go to Asia Garden if you are in Jackson.

Really amazing food, they get it out to you as quick as they can, they are always packed but do an amazing job at getting the customers their orders. They are always nice and the interior is really pretty.

Kanpai has the absolute best service! Everyone is always very friendly. This is our go to place for sushi!! We travel frequently and always try other sushi places. Nothing compares. It's always very fresh. Our kiddos always enjoy it there too. Exceptional service, quality, and amazing food!

Kanpai is the best sushi by far in jackson. The service is consistent and friendly. I have never had a bad experience or bad food from here and they have options for everyone! There is finally an option in South Jackson for good food!
