Q:
Are there Jet-ski rentals here?
A:
No, no one on lake Hamilton is allowed to rent jet skis. They got outlawed about 10 years ago due to liability purposes and a couple of fatalities. You can have them on the lake for your own personal use but for rental purposes they're outlawed.

The business: Easy booking. Convenient location in Hot Springs. Straightforward pricing with no surprises. Rental process was easy and return was simple. All of the team that assisted us were polite, friendly, and customer centric.
The experience: the pontoon boat itself was in excellent condition and easy to maneuver with great HP from the motor. The seats were super comfy and made for a great day cruising the lake. Renting the tube was a must for our sons (8 and 20 yo). The boys had a great time! Mom and Dad had a great time watching ;-)
Overall, we would recommend Kahuna to friends and would definitely rent again, if we return to Hot Springs.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary S.Shreveport, LA06Oct 16, 2023
These folks were fabulous. Really. Beautiful boats, locally owned, and completely courteous and knowledgeable employees. So very refreshing. Rates were reasonable and very competitive. We decided to rent on a whim but they still accommodated us THAT DAY. Wow. We did call other places but they didn't answer the phone at all or there was no human to speak with. Then we lucked out with Kahuna Bay. We highly recommend.

We had the best time ever here! Highly recommend. They were very helpful and informative, the pontoon was clean and comfortable and easy to navigate. We had an amazing day on the lake, and can't wait to do it again. They have an attached restaurant as well Trejo's, that we did not try this time. Thank you!

1. Didn't provide an anchor
2. Charged us extra cause their zip tied booey fell off
3. Wouldn't give us a ride when our house was 100 yards away
4. Charged us $227 to keep it overnight when we had it rented the next dayHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Celeste N.Homewood, AL7911Jul 20, 2022
This company is very unfair! Their boats were nice but there is not a "depth finder" in the boat - they purposefully disconnect it .Therefore, you never know if you are in shallow water. When we turned in our boat they saw a little jagged edge on the prop. They told us that this was our fault and that we had to pay $100. The disclaimer that we signed said if there was any damage to the boat that caused the boat to be dysfunctional that we would be responsible. The prop with the jagged edge did not cause the boat to be dysfunctional that is general wear and tear.So the owners of Kahuna Bay have young men( minions) going out to boats after they are are turned it in and basically finding ANYTHING wrong and charging you $100. It is a MONEY GRAB! Do not recommend these people AT ALL !!!NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!

We were cruising on some low fuel at the very end of the day and Christian came out to fill the boat up...in the rain...with the most positive attitude ever. The customer service was impeccable! He didn't care that they closed in 10 minutes or that it was raining. He was excellent

We rented a pontoon for Fourth of July weekend. Set up was easy, paperwork was quick, staff was friendly and young, very informative about the lake. In and out on the boat within 10 minutes.
Boat doesn't come with a depth finder or an anchor which sucked. We were constantly drifting due to the lake being so busy and the poor captain can never really relax! They informed us they've had issues with people losing them?!
We ran over a tree or something in the middle of the lake that damaged the pop pretty bad, had to pay $60 for that, but at least we didn't get on the wall of shame! If you really eff it up its $100 and they put your name and prop up for the public! It's apparently really common for that to happen. That lake is huge!!!
Got a 10% discount from staying at Sunbay. Cost was $539 for 24 hours + gas $60.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 1 - Mori P.Garland, TX01030Jun 27, 2019
Had a great time. The boat was clean and ready for us ! Only issue was that the 3 person tube reserved wasn't available. Now 2 were at the shop and carried away by other parties while we were present that morning. Not fair ! I really think they have ours away. Putting us in a position to spend more money ($50 additional ski board) and rent additional equipment to keep the 5 teenagers busy. Plus the anchor ($40) fell off when we put it down and we were charged for it. So an additional $90 charge we weren't prepared to spend the day.
