Acheson's Resort

We have a soft rock and country band and we were hired to play at Acheson's Resort on 6 May 2023. Our band members all said they liked the place and were impressed with the service from the staff. The acoustics for sound was surprisingly good and made our audio sound better than most places we had played. We were hired by the owner who compensated us very reasonable for our time. My son and I ordered food and both the food was tasty and was reasonable priced. It is such a cool place where you can dock your boat and have food brought to you at the dock.

I had a great experience with a staff member named Alex. Alex was super friendly, helpful, and very professional.

Lisa the manager was everywhere taking care of customers and kept the operation running smoothly. Lisa came out to pay us just as soon as we were finished. She complimented us which went over well with the band members.

I thank Acheson's Resort for everything and will recommend them very easily.

Good party spot will post more later lots of beer lots of women lots of boats lots of people all having fun. Here is my update this place was a blast. The band was great and we met some people that we haven't seen in years they had a pontoon on the canal the backs right up to this bar. What a perfect spot if you got a boat and want to cruise over to a good party place this is definitely the place to go. Friendly staff and everybody was super cool their place was packed. Everyone was enjoying the weather I don't know if they offer anything to eat as we weren't eating we were just people watching and tipping
back a few cold ones. Been here a few times before. I will definitely be back here again in the near future also it's very close to froggy's. If you're in the area stop by for a good time.

Terrible atmosphere, Weird vibes from the start. And tons of drama from the staff. Would not recommend. I highly suggest a staff turnover! This place used to be amazing. I miss the original family

The party place on the lake, if you come by boat, and find an empty slip, they will serve you right on your boat. We take our dogs on the boat and always have a great time! Food is tasty, recommend the chicken wings and BLT on croissant . Great live music, people watching, and fun atmosphere!

Amazing a restaurant like this can stay in business in a lake community. Called to verify they are still serving breakfast, which they were until 11am. Arrived at 10:45 and sat down. Was told by waitress the owner was in a mood, so no more breakfast. Asked for lunch menu and was told they had a lot of dishes to do, so would be about an hour.

Always enjoy this place, but with attitudes like that, we will go elsewhere. Good luck.

Good dive bar on the water, no selection of tap beer, ordered their hot wings and out came their wings and a bottle of hot sauce - disappointing to say the least

Table was dirty. Horrible service. Crap food. Will not be back. Yelp wants my review to be longer but what's the point?

We love Acheson's more for the view and the entertainment then the food. The food is typical bar food but the view and the entertainment makes it all a wonderful experience.

First time patron to this place, and couldn't have been a worse experience. Showed up at 10:20am for breakfast, sat a table, and waited 20 min to even have our drink order taken. Once it was taken, we promptly ordered food since breakfast would be stopped at 11:00am. Ordered was placed, and 25 min later we were told that breakfast was not being served anymore. We said we would like breakfast, or we would just move on. We were told that it would be ok. 25 min after that the manager came out, and one again told us that breakfast was done being served, and that we would have to place lunch orders. So 50 min after placing our order, well within the time before breakfast was not being served, our order was cancelled.

We also witnessed the manager belittling our server for taking a breakfast order at 10:35 am.

We tipped the server for trying, and promptly left, and my friends and I will NEVER return.
