About the Business
Just want to let everyone know that we have new cooks and a new waitress and will soon be getting more waitresses. Our new hours are 6am to 8pm mon thru sat and 6am to 2pm sunday. We have free specials and 5$ breakfast specials. If you haven't visited us for awhile, you need to try again....new cooks are very good and food is much better now than it has been in the past. Rick G.Indianapolis, IN35967878Jul 8, 2015Man, I really, REALLY hate to make this review. I have a special affinity for small town, locally owned diners, and I REALLY want to see them succeed.
That said, Carol's was just a sub par experience. The food was bland and nearly tasteless, and the service was borderline rude.
There are much better places in Greenfield to spend your money.

I received 2 eggs, smoked sausage, hash browns + 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy AND all the coffee you wanted for $7. Food and service were both excellent. I hope to return soon.

Service is sometimes slow so don't be in a hurry when you go. I have been in at breakfast time and all the tables were empty of people but were covered with dirty dishes. We moved the dishes to another table so we could set down but had to ask for someone to wipe the table. We ordered, received our food and the next 2 groups of people had to do the same thing we did. The parking is not conducive to a wheelchair

My wife and I only have breakfast at Carol's but find it delightful, Where can you get four different breakfast specials for $5.00? The food is good, and out of the kitchen quickly.
