Just Threading - Albany

Everyone is good but I recommend picking one person so that when you go back they know you and what you like. Once I found the person who threaded my eyebrows best , I told her where I wanted to get my eyebrows to and after two months of going to her I was able to achieve what I wanted.

I haven't gotten my eyebrows done in awhile after tweezing them so thin for so long. I first went here a couple months ago and just came back recently. The woman was super sweet and gentle.

I've been coming here for 6 years and they don't disappoint! If you're looking for a place that consistently does amazing eyebrows then you've found it. Proof is in the pictures

So disappointed. It's my third time visiting this location, as traveling back home to NYC isn't always possible, and the lady who did my eyebrows completely over threaded. Not only did she shorten one eyebrow but she cut me as well. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for years and have never been cut - and yes, things happen but this has never happened before. She took far more time on one brow than the other and when she realized it was too thin, she attempted to thin out the other. I explained that she misshaped one and took off too much hair and she told me it's just my eyebrow - it isn't.

Highly disappointed and not going back.

I have the same feelings about this brow studio as I do about the Latham location (I asked, they are affiliated). This spot just happens to be close to my office so I was able to go for a quick trip during a recent lunch break before a wedding.

The space is very clean, and quiet. The check-in process (via ipad or similar technology), was simple and efficient, and I only waited a few minutes while someone else was finishing up. The technician was friendly, and did an excellent job shaping my brows. And you can't beat the cost - I believe $10, AND they send you coupons via text message to sweeten the pot.

Happy to have options for when I'm close to home OR work, knowing I'll have the results I'm expecting every time.

Worst service. Charged me more for the service. I went there to do eyebrow and chin. But they charged me for neck too which they didn't do. 2 people started doing at same time not thinking about client pain. Worst service. Don't waste your money and time.

I moved back from Philadelphia, and was nervous to try a new place because I had a committed relationship with my threader in Philly, but I took the plunge and I am incredibly pleased with my eyebrows.
Pooja was lovely, worked steadily, and gave me exactly what I asked for-clean, bold eyebrows. This place is cheap compared to what I paid at my old place. It's really clean, and very nice. I highly recommend Pooja for threading!

Clean, convenient location. Sometimes I'd rather come here to get my eyebrows threaded than to try and find parking at other threading locations in the mall. Eyebrows came out clean and precise and were threaded just to my liking (and I'm super picky about my eyebrows) with little to no discomfort. I would return when I'm in the area.

I decided to give this a try after growing sick and tired of these incompetent salons ripping the flesh off of my face from a wax. Is it too much for a girl to ask for safe and quick hair removal at a reasonable price? I'm not too crazy about threading. I like the instant gratification of getting a bunch of my hairs ripped out at the same time. But, there was a deal on Groupon, so why not?

First of all - I don't like the fact that they do not accept appointments. It's one thing if they just don't accept appointments, but they state on their website AND HERE ON YELP that they do appointments and there is a 100% response rate within an hour. That's completely false. I called, no call back. I made an appointment here on Yelp, no response back. Because of this?? I almost didn't go. This right here is the reason why this place only got 3 stars from me.

But, I'm glad I did go. This place is really nice. There was no wait and it was quick. That's what I like. It does get to the point where my eyes tear up a bit, but here me out - I also get my chin and lip (yikes!!) done along with the brows. The woman who did the threading was really sweet and professional. I will absolutely be back again - with fingers crossed that there isn't a wait.

The location is on the right hand side if you are going East on Western Avenue. It gets a little busy right there, so I wouldn't attempt a left hand turn right there. Keep going to the next street, turn left there and turn around to be on the same side of the street.

When I'm in Albany I almost always get my eyebrows threaded here. It's going on the 3rd year I've been going here. Pooja does great on eyebrows & I usually don't go to anyone else, but her.

Now let's go into why I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5. There was a new lady there the last time I came & I had no choice but to get them done, as I had an event to attend..Well it was evident that she was struggling. I think her name is Amita? Or something around that. She tried her "best", until I stopped her mid way on the service. She may be learning, but I don't think she's ready to do eyebrow threading just yet. I love this place & it's always my go to when I'm in town, but I have to be honest. She has more work to do & it may be a potential risk to your business having her do that service.
