Good authentic Chinese food but the BBQ roasted duck came out kind of cold. This place was good to try some original Chinese food with pretty good service for an Asian place.

Oh Joy Luck BBQ, you fill my cravings for some decent Chinese food in Texas. No, it's not comparable to SF or Vancouver but I'll take Chinese food from Joy Luck. BBQ pork, jellyfish, beef flat noodles, congee, duck feet, steamed fish, doesn't matter. It's all there, it's all good, and it's one of the few places to practice your Cantonese and not Mandarin. We took my parents and they loved it. If you are looking for some crab rangoon, please don't go here. This place only has the real thing.
p.s. I think they might have BBQ pork on weekends only. I never see it hanging in the windows during the week.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Cali H.Dallas, TX34124347Mar 10, 2010
We ordered the special steamed fried rice with crab. They literally cooked a huge crab in this big pot that can feed 4-6 people! And it was so worth it! I don't know the price... sorry! I was on a date! :) It was a nice presentation! You see a huge crab when they open up the pot and the waiter takes out the crab shell and mixed the rice up for you. It was steamy and yummy in my tummy! If it's expensive, then its worth it!

Yay! I finally found a place with roast pork!! Yummy roast pork with cracklin skin!! *drools* This restaurant is located next to the Hua May Supermarket. I'm very pleased with how nice and clean this place is compared to some of the other Chinese restaurants I've been to lately. The service was also good but it was not busy when I went. We had the roast pork, cripsy fried noodles with seafood, and crispy fried tofu. All our dishes were delicious! We'll definitely be back again!

This place is super cute. Location is good and is found in the heart of Plano's "Chinatown." The food and service is great and proves that First Chinese BBQ isn't the only place one can find decent chinese food.

Really good chinese food, we had the wonton soup and let me tell you this was home made wonton but the way they wrapped these wontons was very different from almost all the chinese restaurants Ive been to and you can actually see balls of shrimp in the wontons. Never ever greasy and of course they have BBQ duck, pork and it's all made there on the premises and not bought from somewhere else. Service is ok but the food was more memorable.

Not only was the food mediocre/bland, but the service and management were horrible. The waitress never put ice in our water for one, and the management decided to stop accepting restaurant.com coupon, making our 30 minute drive out there for nothing. We wasted our time, money we wouldn't have spent at this place otherwise, and were left with a bitter experience.
