My mother got into an accident and had to be taken to Upstate via ambulance. Her car got towed to this miserable excuse for a business. I went to try and get her groceries from the trunk but the vile excuse for human being at the window said they only deal with the registered owner. "What if I get her on the phone?" Nope. Nothing doing. They also told me to "calm down." How does one "calm down" when your mother is in the hospital? AVOID THESE SCUMBAGS AT ALL COSTS.

This place is absolutely the worst place possible. They are extremely rude. They try to blame every situation on the customer. If you have to get your car done here expect them to have it for days...Do not go to this place ever.

Absolutely terrible service, avoid this place at all cost! My car was towed with all of medications inside. I called the emergency number to retrieve my insulin because they are closed on Sundays. Completely gave me the run-around and would not cooperate until I threatened to call the police. My insulin and medications are literally necessary for me to live, I cannot function without them!! Absolutely despicable customer service and no concern for human decency. They also asked to see the prescriptions upon retrieval which is absolutely a HIPPA violation and completely inappropriate. Don't have an emergency number if you can't be bothered to accommodate in an emergency!! Life functioning medication is an emergency. I sincerely hope this place shuts down.

They towed my car it cost $140 then they charged an extra $20 for a "difficult tow" even though it was only 5 miles. On top of this they got my key jammed in the ignition while driving the car without my permission. Finally there's a white paint scrape that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before.

This place sucks ass. Owner is a scumbag that everyone hates. Got my jeep towed and held it after i paid him because it had a flat tire when i had a spare. Had to call the cops. Guess it happens all the time. Lucky you even got 1 star just because i had too.

My son was in a car accident less than half a mile from John's Auto Body. We were charged $390 to tow it to their shop. The only good review on here must be from a relative or someone who works there. I cannot imagine ever wanting to step foot in this establishment again. They are rude and dishonest. Their "certified letter" that they kindly mailed to us for $40 telling us what we owed them did not match what they charged us when we picked up the car. This place is awful, I cannot believe they are still open. The only reason they are is because you don't get a choice of what tow company comes when 911 sends them. Run far and fast from this place. They will take your car and not give it back until you give them ridiculous amounts of money.

The absolute worst place you can ever go to. The female is nasty on the phone and overall a nasty person. She tried to scam more money from me by forcing me to pay for storage. She literally locked and ran from the door when she SAW me approaching. I had to almost bust down the door because I refused to have them hold my car for more than 24 hours. She refused to give me her name. George didn't even mention on the phone that they only took money order or cash and I had to WALK all over Syracuse to find the nearness usps. This place is a scam. Do not go here. I'll be reporting that whole business to BBB.

Stay far far away from this shop! Our car got towed there after it broke down. We kept calling to get updates, and were given the run around. All we wanted was to pay our tow charge but they kept coming up with excuses...When we decided to go pick up the car to bring it to a different shop they charged us for "storage" !! They refused to release the car. What a rip off. Rude management and unethical practice!!

Worst experience ever the tow truck driver was rude and the customer service was horrible. The inside was so dirty I wouldn't want to stay in there any longer than I have too.

Car was towed there from University. Daughter went to pick it up the next day and owner yelled at her, pointed his finger in face, saying she was going to jail. Really? to pick up the car? She had wrong paper, and walked back to friends car to take her back to get paper and he followed her continuing to scream at her... Well now, we're the wrong people to have someone abuse my daughter--Cops are being sent over and charges pressed. Can you give a negative star?
