Been my go to spot for over 10 years. Best buffalo chicken pie I have ever had. You'll never want another pie again

My go to for Buffalo Chicken pizza. They just get it right every time.
Decided to treat myself and gave that pretty square slice a first time try. The Vodka slice was on point. This place really is the spot to go for your pizza fix.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 24, 2020Previous reviewBuffalo Chicken pizza from here is by far one of the best I had. Deep dish style, plenty of juicy chicken drenched in buffalo sauce. Drizzle some blue cheese on a slice and it's golden.

I came back here for another meal.
The seafood salad was once again ordered as an appetizer (see previous review for similar thoughts). The crabmeat stuffed mushrooms ($8.95) and stuffed mushrooms with breadcrumbs ($7.95) were also ordered. There were 8 to an order. I preferred the ones with breadcrumbs. I thought the one with crabmeat was a little plain, but that could have just been the particular mushroom I had.
For an entrée, I went with the chicken vodka ($15.95). It was breaded and topped with mozzarella and vodka sauce over pasta. It was an exceptional dish. There were large pieces of tender chicken and creamy vodka sauce. The vodka sauce was just not that spicy, which I prefer. Other than that, it was an appetizing and pleasant entrée. I also tried the cavatelli with broccoli and sausage as well as the chicken rapini. The cavatelli was very good. There was a lot of garlic incorporated and the sausage was great. The chicken rapini was sautéed in garlic and oil with sausage and broccoli rabe. There was also pasta present. I liked everything about this dish as well. I believe there were sundried tomatoes too, which went well with the rest of the dish.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Apr 18, 2017Previous reviewThere were a few tables in the front and also a larger seating area in the back. When we attended, there was a big party being served in the back area, but our service was still well appreciated. The food came out in a timely matter. The menu had typical Italian dishes with some different items too. The prices were reasonable given their portion size.
They start the table off with a pizza bread. It appeared to be their tomato sauce on a long piece of bread served with vinaigrette. The bread was very tasty. The sauce was very light and flavorful.
For appetizers, the seafood salad ($14.95) and rice balls ($6.95) were ordered. The seafood salad consisted of shrimp, calamari, scungilli, celery, and red onions in a lemon vinaigrette over lettuce. This was exceptional. All of the fish was very fresh and the lemon vinaigrette provided a nice touch. The rice balls were filled with rice, mozzarella, Romano, and ricotta cheeses. There were 6 large rice balls present. They were solid. I am not a fan of rice balls in general, but I was a fan of these.
I ordered the Veal "Joey D" ($16.95) for my meal. The dish had several pieces of veal with ham sautéed in a white wine sauce topped with melted mozzarella. It was also served over penne. The menu said the pasta would be served with their marinara sauce on the side, but this not the case. I liked what they did instead actually. The veal pieces were tender and cooked to perfection while the ham provided a nice compliment. The sauce was fabulous as well. The only issue I had was that there was more ham present than the veal. Other than that, it was a well put together dish.
For dessert, the peanut butter "truffle" was ordered. They called it a truffle, but it was more like a tartufo. I enjoyed it as there was a right amount of a peanut butter taste to it. It was not too overpowering.
Will I go back? Easily. - Jun 17, 2018

Had a pie to go that was advertised as a 8.99 special. Do they even taste their own pizza? Pretty bad. Bland. No Taste. Cheap ingredients. Oh well

Love their grandma pizza, with its thin crust that's always perfectly baked. Delivery is always ahead of schedule, and service is friendly when I pick up my own order.

Writing this on my lunch break while I enjoy the other half of my Joey d wrap from last night's dinner.
So far I've had their pizza, sandwiches, wraps, salads, fries, and wings. Always so fresh, large portions, and delicious. The staff is superb, fast, and friendly. My partner's go to pizza place has turned into our go to takeout place for all American and Italian food. Highly recommend to all!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
