Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza

Always a top choice when it comes to pizza.

Stopped in for dinner. We usually go to the Greenwood location, but we were in the mood to go to this one.

We started with beers and an order of breadsticks with the Creamy Parmesan. You can get up to 3 different dipping sauces, but we like the Parmesan so much, we get all 3 in this. We also got Greek salads and a 12" Dillinger Pizza. Everything was so tasty, and we have leftovers to look forward to.

The customer experience here was outstanding! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Our server was friendly and stayed on top of things., We didn't have to ask for anything while we were there.

The decor is great too. I love the artwork on the walls.

If you like flavorful thin crust pizza, this is definitely a good place to go to!

We are regulars at Jockamos so I may be a little biased! I love the thin crust, well done pizza. We usually sit at the bar rail and the service is always excellent. We also order delivery quite often with the same quality service. The wait staff is always fast, very efficient, and knowledgeable. The Irvington location is our favorite! Clean location, roomy, and a nice bar area. We had the bunkhouse for the 1st time today and it just wasn't our style, luckily we ordered a back up!

Consistently great pizza. Great combinations and lots of toppings to choose from if you want to build your own.
I am a sucker for the Lazyboy, but their Thai pizza is also delicious. If you get a 12-inch or larger, you can get your pizza half and half... Problem solved.
They do not take reservations and are generally rather busy. So keep that in mind.
Service is a bit hit or miss. So enjoy when you have good service and take comfort in the delicious pizza if you don't.
There is quite a bit of parking behind the building and also en entry door from the back parking lot.

A year later and I still enjoy Jockamos pizza! The staff, atmosphere w/ local art on the wall and the food still impress. The party I visited with decided to split a large Lazyboy pizza and some breadsticks with 3 different sauces (garlic parm, cheddar and marinara).

The pizza & breadsticks are amazing! They have many sauces for the breadsticks, some that are made in houseIf they mess up they make it right!

So let me start off by saying I have been a loyal customer since Jockomoes opened in Lawrence. I have consistently ordered the same pizza for years. Lazy Boy xtra cheese, xtra pepporoni. Other than the occasional burnt crust My husband and I have been very satisfied.
I recently placed a order for my usual. Man normally the toppings are piled high and you can see the extra Pepperoni . Not this time. The only toppings were in the center, surrounding slices flat as a pancake. For $38 bucks I am done! No more I will frequent their competitor whom gets it right! My thing is how hard is it to consistently measure and top the pizzas accordingly and consistently. This is why restaurants close!

Great local Pizzaria. Crispy crust and fresh toppings. Can get really busy on weekends but is worth the wait. We go at least once a month. We get the Slaughterhouse Five with tons of meat. So good! And usually get a veggie pizza too so that we have leftovers!! The red sauce is better after the night in the fridge. Breadsticks and cheese dip are simple but good.

Parmesan cheese, dipping sauce is the best dip! Every time I go to Jockamo's I order extra for your breadsticks for your pizza it's amazing dip. Service is always great. I love going there. Never a bad time last couple times. I've went plenty of seating and didn't have to wait which is great.

We discovered this Jockamo's last year when looking for places to dine that were close to our Airbnb. We walked into a normal local place, just like we frequent at home, welcoming and great smells coming from the kitchen. We both ordered individual pizzas that were so good that we decided that when we returned in 2023 for the Drum Corps Internation competitions at Lucas Oil Stadium, we'd definitely return.

Return we did! Hubby had the Slaughter House Five and I had the Meatballs and Buratta appetizer. Each was amazing!

We'll definitely be back in 2024!!!

Easily one of the top 3 best pizza spots in Indianapolis & surrounding areas!! Every time I bring someone here that's never tried it they leave a huge fan and always come back!
They have a family dining area and a bar area. Bar is self seat and is nice if you want to just come in by yourself, grab a quick bite and a beverage! Hurry in if you haven't tried it yet!
