Nice people, but how has this below average food earned 4 stars? My wife had the pork & snow peas combo. I had the pork and mushroom combo and egg drop soup. Both orders came with one egg role and one fortune cookie. The pork in both meals was incredibly over cooked, tough, and tasteless. The mushrooms and snow peas were good. The rice was a brick pasted together rather than fluffy. The egg rolls were average at best and the egg drop soup was beyond thick. Overall.... the taste of both meals, the egg rolls and the soup was 100% bland and boring. It was a meal that left our stomachs feeling like we ate a gallon of glue.
Sadly, the only thing that tasted fresh and delicious at Jin Jin King was the fortune cookies. They were delish, but come from a company that has no clue what the word fortune means. "You are a persistent person" is not a fortune.
Fast food Chinese like Panda Chef is far better than this place. Eat somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 19, 2022
This place is a Japanese/Chinese fusion & it was average in both. Nothing really stood out to me as excellent but some things were not so great
The rangoons were my favorite of the whole meal.
Least favorite was the chicken as it was pretty dry & had a weird texture.. I didn't get sick so not sure but it was dry & kinda rubbery.
The tempura had a good flavor but a bit more breading than I usually see. The shumai were delicious though!
Also, had some of my friends teriyaki vegetables & the sauce was good.
They gave large pieces of sashimi and sushi.. not sure how fresh they were.
The gyoza was also good. Skin was soggy but it worked with the juicy inside tbh
Overall, it's an ok spot but wouldn't go out of my way for itHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Bobbi L.Memphis, TN42798Jul 5, 2023
The food itself was alright but the service was terrible. There was only 2 tables of customers and that was including our table but the waitress acted as if she's ready to kick us out or something-- asked if we wanted a takeout box although at least 1/4 of our party was still eating on the dish. Then about 5mins later (while we were still eating) asked if we were done so she can take our plates away-- and asked again a few mins later and proceed to hand us our bill. If you're considering eating here, I would suggest takeout but I would not recommend dining here at all.

Wasn't a great meal. The food was okay at best, and the service was poor. We asked for plates and chop sticks once our app came, and it took forever to get a plate.
If the food was inexpensive, I'd be fine with poor service, but $60+ dollars for two is not a good value for so-so food and poor service.
Too bad as we are always on the look out gof a great, easy Chinese place to eat in out take out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sandy J.Acworth, GA04362Sep 15, 2023
We found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. Didn't want to spend a lot, already did that this week! They had nice dinner specials for $10.99 which included an egg roll, rice and the entree. Just wanted standard Chinese, sweet and sour chicken and bourbon chicken. Both were excellent. My experience with the service was that it was quick, attentive and courteous. Would definitely visit again next time we're in PCB.

Awesome place. Food and service were fantastic. Visiting and wanted some sushi. This place was open late and no crowd . Came in and seated right away. Had Salmon Teriyaki. Such a large portion we ate it for lunch the next day.

We were looking for sushi in our trip. This was a bit of a hole in the wall but had good ratings. Very attentive staff. The sushi was good normal pricing $8-12 a roll. The interior is small and quaint.

We ordered takeout. It's your regular Chinese food take out. Delicious and hot, exactly what you would expect.

The Mei Fun and fried rice was good, but the 2 sushi rolls we got were the star of the show. We did have a hiccup with the waitress hearing the wrong roll being order, but they made it right and brought out the correct roll.

Best Chinese food I've had. Was here a year ago, said I'd be back. Just as great! Great service.
