Casual and delicious. My favorite sushi spot in Pinellas County. It is worth every penny! A few favorite rolls: Scott roll, Deluxe Spicy Tuna, Bob roll. The best, most authentic spicy tuna rolls I've found in my 22 years in Pinellas.

Updating with another 5 star review three years later because Jimmy's continues to thrive.

Servers are always lovely but most importantly, everything is consistently good.
--If you're a traditionalist, you can't go wrong with things like the sashimi appetizer or the chirashi. The tuna is particularly always very good.
--The tuna triple threat is the appetizer of sushi dreams.
--I think rolls are where Jimmy's really shines, though - both small/traditional and more deluxe. I literally dreamt of the deluxe spicy tuna roll while I was pregnant. There's deliciousness to be found in both the cooked and uncooked sections of the sushi menu.
--If you're not feeling sushi, the other cooked options are great too. I've gotten the bento box a few times and the tempura shrimp and veggies are to die for, as is the salmon teriyaki. Others have vouched for the fish katsu, the fried rice, the gyoza and the mussels appetizer.

There's a reason we've been regulars for years.

I have to say, if you love sushi rolls, this is the spot to go to. However, if your more into sushi and sashimi, I'm not sure I would suggest this spot.

Every sushi roll we ordered here was super tasty, and the fish does taste fresh. However, when I ordered my sushi, the salmon bellow I received was very tough. I'm use to it melting in my mouth. The regular salmon my sister ordered did not look great and she thought it was too fishy. The Japanese scallop I got, was not as tasty either, kind of grossed me out because it seemed too warm. But if inside a roll, you probably wouldn't notice. The sweet shrimp ordered however was pretty good. And the escolar sashimi appetizer with ponzu was pretty good, was probably my favorite out of all that I ordered outside of ordering the rolls.

The rolls that I can remember that were ordered were the crunch roll, Bahama mama, David roll, and I think the jumbo jimmy roll. I loved them all!

The Krab ragoons here are pretty good too and the miso was good.

Parking here is kinda a disaster in the back and is a tiny lot. Inside was a decent size.

Would probably come back here again tho for the rolls! But the parking has me wondering if it's worth it.

Celebrating this awesome life with lunch to-go and my favorite dish of all the sushi restaurants in town, the "Salmon Triple Threat"! Loads of Sashimi Salmon with Spicy Scallion, Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce.

The ambiance is excellent. The owner, Jimmy, is always there assuring quality service and food.

I always see Jimmy's sushi on my st pete facebook pages as the best sushi in town but the pictures never looked that good so I held off for awhile and I can't believe I made such a mistake. Jimmy's has great fresh sushi for such a good price. They must be losing money because we ordered 4 rolls, two sodas and crab rangoons and it was $60 before tip. Best value in the town and everything tasted better than the expensive sushi places in st pete. Everything was pretty unbelievable and while the rolls look basic the fish was fresh and melted in my mouth. The Bobby was our favorite roll and the crab loaded on top was insane. The service was very good they have a great staff and all the other diners seem like this is the local place where everyone knows and loves Jimmy. It is a little small inside but not too small, i could see it getting crowded fast. We went on a friday at 8pm and had no wait and the sushi took about 20 minutes. I cant to come back!

We have been eating here for over 10 years. Consistently delicious! Jimmy's staff is attentive, knowledgeable + very pleasant. And Jimmy makes the best sushi every time. Triple Threat is heavenly

Enjoyed a nice evening out with great company and delicious food. The sushi here is very fresh, flavorful, and plenty to choose from. The wasabi baked mussels are a great twist instead of using spicy mayo. Be prepared if you order them, they do have a bite to it. Service is quick, welcoming, and friendly! Highly recommend coming here!

Jimmy's is our local favorite sushi bar in the Seminole area.

We have been eating here for well over ten years.

Jimmy even made a special roll for my little one every time we came in when our kids were little.

We haven't had anything bad here. Their staff is always kind.

This is where we bring friends and family when they come to visit.

Found this sushi place while vacationing. Amazing sushi, so fresh and a huge variety of rolls. We took our nephew for his first time sushi experience and it was great because they have a ton of cooked rolls. Great for a newbie sushi person. We ended up getting a variety and they did not disappoint. Friendly and fast service. The inside is bigger then you think, lots of seating. And the decor is perfect for a sushi restaurant. I would recommend!!
