Jeff's Kettle Corn

They only do kettle corn, but they do it well. Lots of interesting flavors at decent prices. A place to go if you need your Kettle Corn but can't wait for a fair.

I went to get lunch at a local Jamaican restaurant that I frequent and I saw that the new place next to it was actually open. Didn't need an excuse, new place to try so I went there as soon as I could.

This is very much a specialty shop. They only do kettle corn, and they got lots of different boxes and lots of different flavors. They do your standard kettle corn, lots of sweet variations, and a few different savory versions as well.

Everything uses that similar kettle corn base though. So if you get a mango habanero popcorn it's actually kettle corn so it's got that sweet toffee like flavor with that salt hit on top of the flavor you select.

The popcorn is fresh though, and the flavors are good. It's very much a single type of food, but they do it well and they vary the flavors enough to keep things interesting. If you need kettle corn, this is a place to get it and it's a quality place.

I'm not usually a big kettle corn fan. I can see it at fairs and walk right by, even if they're there making it fresh. But last weekend I was at the Colchester Farmers Market. I was waiting while my husband grabbed a donut from a neighboring truck, and the Jeff's Kettle Corn booth caught my eye. It was the Honey Habanero kettle corn right in front that lured me in. It promised Hot! Hot! Hot! In the front of the bag. I love spicy food so I needed to try this.

It's a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and salty! Just an amazing snack food that I haven't been able to put down. I got it Sunday and polished off the bag by Tuesday. And remember, I don't like kettle corn!!

They've confirmed that they'll be at the Colchester Farmers Market every week, so depending where you're located that might be a closer option for you. Though I am interested to check out the store for more flavor variety!

Jeff's Kettle Corn is a local popcorn place in CT. They were usually found at car shows and farmers markets, but a brick-and-mortar store was finally opened. They offer a variety of kettle corn flavors: Traditional 'Sweet 'n Salty,' Bacon 'n Cheese, Cajun Malt, Chipotle, Cinnamon, Dill, Garlic, Honey, Jeffer Jax, Jolokia, Pepper, Maple, Maple Walnut, Ranch, and White Cheddar. I was able to try their Maple 'Sweet 'n Salty' (it was part of a goody bag I received at a hotel I was staying at) which is a mixture of buttered popcorn and some caramel/brown sugar popcorn - I liked how the popcorn was nicely seasoned and not too overwhelmingly sweet. It was pretty tasty :D I would love to try out their other flavors (like their Bacon 'n Cheese, Ranch, Garlic, and White Cheddar), and you can contact Mr. Jeff himself to set up some shipment of orders :D

Popcorn is good, but customer service is spotty. Some days you're greeted while other you're not even acknowledged until time to pay.

Stopped in today to their store. I highly suggest stopping by to pick up some of their popcorn. I purchased 5 bags in different flavors.. each different and each very tasty. I brought some to work and everyone is munching now and commenting how good it is. I cannot wait to go back to try other flavors.

If you want to try the best kettle corn around, Jeffs is the place to go! It's a fun little shop in a small town. You can sample all the different flavors in store. He has over 25 different flavors throughout the year. It's all popped on site fresh every day! Not only does he carry delish kettle corn, he also has local honey, locally made hot sauce, Texas jerky, and the best vegan chocolate around! You can truly find something for the entire family at Jeff's Kettle Corn!

We use Jeff's Kettle Corn in our gourmet baskets at our flower shop and it is wonderful! The flavors are fantastic and just the right amount of salty or sweet. Excellent local business. So many flavors and all made on premise. Staff was courteous and helpful and VERY nice and accommodating to my disabled son. Definitely will return and recommend!
