Food was good, mediocre nothing special.
Ordered Caesar salad with crab cake cost $25 extremely pricey requested roll with salad, however I informed entrees take priority in cooking before
bread. The Caesar salad was my entree and I received no bread... basically paid $25 for Romaine lettuce and one crab cake (the place was not full, no wait line when we arrived with a large party of 15 and were seated immediately.
      Left dissappointed and somewhat hungry.
Not sure if I will return.

The food good, nothing crazy amazingly special. I ordered a Caesar salad w/ crabcake ($25 very pricy for what I received)

Jake's is a very friendly place to meet your family or friends for a delicious seafood lunch or dinner. My girlfriends and were there for their "All you can eat" crabs.

This special is being offered daily from 2pm to 5pm for $25 and worth every penny. The deal includes crabs and corn on the cob. The crabs were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The corn was sweet. Our server, Daniel, was very attentive.

The restaurant decor is nautical adding to the ambience. The dining room and restrooms were extremely clean. There is a baby changing station in the ladies room.

The bar area has TV screens. The noise level was fine, not loud.

The clientele was a mix of tourists and locals.

I would definitely recommend Jakes Seafood House.

The salad was good the shrimp good, a little short staffed, a little dated. Overall, no real wow factor. Certificates in entry are crooked, falling out of their frames--- gives a "we don't care" welcome as you walk in the door.

I wasn't expecting much but they managed to disappoint. AYCE crab legs was actually for blue crabs. I'm from New Orleans and don't do blue crabs here, they are usually from Louisiana and three times the price. The Snow crabs were dry, who knows how many times they were thawed and prepared for service. Had a fruit fly in my first beer, and one on my platter of crabs soon after. Server was very apologetic and I was given some extra buffalo wings to take home. Manager came by and offered some kind of comp for a return visit no thanks. I'm in the business, felt a very lax environment. Typical Lower Slower Delaware outfit. More like Lazy Sloppy Delaware. Step it up.

      No just no.

I loved the apps. I had the stuffed mushrooms and crab dip.

I had an overpriced seafood platter. The shrimp had some sort of chemical taste like it was marinated in motor oil. I had to spit it out. It wasn't just one of the shrimp. My girlfriend tasted the same with hers. The taste never subsided. Everything else I ate had the same taste for the rest of the meal.

I eat a lot of seafood. I can't think of a logical explanation for what happened.

      Not worth the money spent.
Looks like fast food served here.
Meal was cooked to long as if to
      cover up the ingrediants. Poor
      quality over all.

We were literally overwhelmed trying to find the right place to eat in Rehobeth and it got late and we ended up at Jakes. It's not a thriving business. It's huge inside but didn't have a lot of customers. It was just me and my husband so we kind of liked the quiet. We started with the seafood bisque. I wouldn't really call it a bisque but it was really good. It was filled with seafood and the base was good. Both of us really enjoyed it.

I ordered the pecan crusted salmon and hubs ordered a seafood platter. The seafood platter was good but expensive and not huge. We loved the crab cake but it has a bit of a horseradish taste. Which we like, but I could see where some might not. My salmon was really good. I enjoyed it.

It wasn't a cheap dinner but all in all it was a nice dinner with good food. I did hate myself for ordering a piece of cheesecake for 9.99 to go and it was the tiniest piece of cheesecake ever. Not worth 10.00 at all. The menu eluded it was a huge piece of cheesecake so I figured me and him would share it later on. I would skip dessert next time.

Our waitress was really friendly and good. We never saw anyone that resembled a manager. I think this place could be amazing with a better staff and some updates.

Mediocre food at best and pricy. The crab soup was full of vegetables and very little crab. Not seasoned at all and was really bland
The fish tacos were good, except the outrageous price of $17.00 for 2, made them a little hard to swallow.
My wife ordered the pecan crusted salmon. It tasted like someone just poured maple syrup over the fish. It was to sweet and it wasn't cook all the way through.
I will say the service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and responsive.
Save your money and go else.

I am always wary when I get AYCE anything so I didn't have high expectations at Jake's. I was pleasantly surprised! The crabs were heavy and meaty, served piping hot. I could tell they were cooked fresh and had not been sitting around. The fries, corn, hush puppies and slaw were hot or cold as appropriate and fresh tasting. Mike's service was attentive and friendly and as professional as in a fine dining establishment.
