My daughter and I were out for a drive and ended up in the shopping strip mall that this place calls home. The outside is enough to scare me off normally, but we'd just come out of Covid lock down and hadn't sat down to eat anywhere. Also, we were starving.

Our food was fine. Not the best, but everything was fresh and tasty. Nobody was ill afterwards. Getting out alive felt like a win. Our server was very nice, although it took a long time for the food to arrive, a bit over 20 minutes, and she disappeared the whole time. We were the only patrons in the restaurant, so we didn't know what the delay was from. We weren't in a hurry.

The interior is an interesting hodgepodge of furniture and decoration. My daughter thought the table was a bit sticky, but I didn't see or feel anything amiss. Going to the bathroom was confusing for her. The door marked bathroom was locked and the door next to it says "no minors". The secret was to go through those doors into the bar area and take a hard right to the bathrooms. That was a little crazy.

It was a very interesting meal, not one I'll repeat, but not the horror show we feared from some of the one star reviews. I'd love to nominate it for a spin on Gordon Ramsey's kitchen makeover show, "Kitchen Nightmares".

Notice three different styles of chairs and the yard sale quality decor.

Worst Chinese food we ever had for following reasons, sub gum chicken cow main had ton of zunichi, the noodles underneath were stale, it came with smallest fried shrimp then overcharged for what I ordered. My friend order was just as bad.. Fried rice was cold, tasted and looked like leftovers refried fried rice.Mongolian sliced beef was cold and tuff.
The food quality for those 2 different orders very poor and made the prices for the lunch specials over priced.

On the up side! Jade green is a good place too get some
Dinner it's not that expensive I like this place because you don't have to pay for something to be added onto a plate or taken off like some other Chinese places.

On the down side some times the food is not that fresh it seems rushed if your getting takeout and not dining in. And for me sometimes the food is not cooked all the way. The chicken could be a little bit
Crispy and they could put a few extra slices of bbq pork In a combo meal. But all in all
It's my favorite Chinese restaurant and end the end it's vary fulfilling and you will come back for more.

I think the only reason this place is open is because of the bar section, they get a lot of business, especially on the weekends. The food is overpriced for the quality . I got some pot stickers and the kung pao shrimp and it was over 50$. The place looks dirty like literally you can see the dust in there. It's awkwardly quite and the lady just kept staring.

      (Leave kids at home)
Sketchy would be how to describe this place. Stopped in for lunch. Restaurant sign says open. When you Walk in, you are forced to walk to the bar. Restrooms in the hall are padlocked and sign on door says, "for paying customers only".
I'm hungry and my hands are dirty. I ask if the Asian woman at the bar if the restaurant side is open for lunch. She asks if I can sit on bar side. I explained it's my work lunch break and probably best if I don't.
I was Prepared to go elsewhere but she said she could open the other side up. I asked about a bathroom to wash hands. She directed me around a corner and down the hall. (If you have ever saw the movie "Train spotting" , you will understand the condition of the bath rooms.
I get seated at the table, the woman is what sounds like yelling at a man in a different language. The man is trying to unarm the alarm system. The alarm keeps talking warnings through out my lunch.
I went for something easy, non fried. Kung pow chicken. Order came, just Kung pow chicken and crunchy brown rice. No soup or other side. Flavor of chicken was ok as long as I did not think of the perceived kitchen conditions, then I was ok.
This was definitely a experience and I did what my better judgement told me not to do. I did not get a To go box and I never got food poising.
Gamble at your own risk. Leave the kiddos at home.

Food is good, but I ordered online for pick up. It told me that it was ready to pick up, but when I got here they did not even know an order has been placed. I don't mind waiting extra time for the food, but it just sucked that they told me it was ready and they weren't even aware the order has been made. They should find a better system for online orders if they are going to have that as an option.

      First to Review

Jade Green Palace is all about the homely atmosphere. It's run by Leena and her husband (Whom you will get to meet often, they work all day every day!). They are amazingly easy going about special orders, they will mix anything on their menu into a portion for you even if it's only for yourself.

If you are going in alone they are always happy to sit and talk with you. When you are waiting for your food to take out they never leave you sitting cold, they offer soup and tea even if it's take out.

Our daughter loved their egg flower soup so much that any time we would get a to-go order the manager would slip in some soup just for her!

The food is fantastic, they'll mix anything you want into a combination, they're AMAZING about working out any problem you could have (On more than one occassion they kept the restaurant open to get in our order at the last minute).

Give these people your business, they run a very good restaurant and I guarentee after enough visits you'll be hooked.

Absolutely the worst food I have ever tried, not sure if they are serving Cat, Dog or extremely Bland chicken, pork and shrimp. I ordered the chicken chow mein Fried shrimp BBQ Pork and Pork fried rice, and could not tell the difference in taste between the dishes. The food was cold, also I watched the older Chinese Lady working their or owner not sure which scrape the Pork fried rice she served me off of another persons plate and it had sweet and sour sauce all over it and she expected me to eat it. when i complained and told her I was not going to eat it she still charged me for it. I will be calling the health department on them and also seeing if their is anything I can do to get my money back that I paid for food that was totally inedible.. I really think that Cat Or Dog would have tasted better.

Please do yourself a favor and eat anywhere but there.
