Driving to NJ from Pittsburgh area on a Friday , my son called me. "Are you going to jersey? When are you coming back? Can you bring me a roast beef diablo?". So on Saturday I ordered 3 Diablos to take back to the burgh.
You've got to get the primo size because that's the good bread. The other bread isn't a good or as chewy.
The sandwiches were put together well and wrapped neatly. They tasted as great as expected and it makes me wish we had a primo locally.
They lady at the counter was polite when I picked up. The restaurant is clean and neat.
      I'll always go back!

I asked to make the hoagies for traveling which was great. I asked for extra 2 sweet peppers on the side and a hot peppers. Received the opposite. Needing more sweet peppers. Just disappointed.

I see all of the negative reviews and I was really hoping for a different experience. I ordered the crusher. I see what others complain about with the lack of meat. It was lacking more so than at least 5 of the surrounding sub shops by a lot. Now, there were two major mistakes. They used American cheese and those aren't hot pepper shooters. Those are banana peppers. Ugh. Now, even though it was messed up, the lunch meat was good and the toppings are fresh.

You guys have a GREAT menu. It's the execution of the sandwiches that's the issue, especially when the picture of a sub is on the door and it's STACKED with meat. Maybe set a standard weight for the meat used. Put pictures up for the staff showing the finished product. It's all over these reviews... turn this place around. I'll try again in another month.

      Updated review

Updating my review to one star review because I decided to give them another try today plus paid for extra meat and the sandwich looks exactly the same. And the website you provided to me isn't a valid link I copy and pasted it and also tried to type it separately.

I wish I could give it less. This place has gone down hill in spectacular fashion. Today we ordered hoagies through grub hub and every single one of our hoagies had just meat. No lettuce no tomato not onions. No salt no pepper no oil no vinegar. There is nowhere in grub hub to add these items btw. Let e ask this though, what person who works in a hoagie shop makes a hoagie w/out these items? Leave your job and find new employment. Your hoagie making skills have failed you.

Wish I could put 5 stars because I love primos but Burlington primos really is the worst. They never get your order right. Feels like no one working their cares, please for the love of god go to a different restaurant. Sonic has better food then this trash place

I was looking to love Primos. Sadly our experience at the Burlington location fell short. I waited in store 20 mins from time to order to getting my 2 hoagies as the only customer in the store, paid over $35 for 2 primo sandwiches and the sandwiches were just average. I'm going to continue frequenting wawa for my hoagies even though primos did have better rolls.

I ordered three Primo hoagies yesterday online. First, they couldn't find my order in the system. I had received a confirmation and my credit card was charged $43.00. The worker had my husband print out the order and proceeded to make them. The hoagies were a complete joke! There was next to no meat or cheese on any of them, the toppings were wrong on all of them. This isn't the first time we received what a refer to is a "joke of a hoagie". I understand businesses are hurting with this economy, but come on, barely one slice of meat and cheese on the entire hoagie (times 3 hoagies). Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It is safe to say I will not be ordering from here again.

I ORDERED and PAID for a Primo size Roast Beef and Provolone.
It was nowhere near what it used to be. It was shorter (about 8 inches) and the ingredients were not up to their usual size. It looked almost like a Wawa hoagie but it cost about 5 dollars more. I will not be returning, sorry to say. I have been going there since they opened.
