Amazing food and drinks at JB Dawson! Hidden gem in Park City Center Mall. But even more importantly, the service is impeccable! The wait staff and bartenders are top notch! They are attentive, prompt and professional!

And the food is DELICIOUS! Happy Hour M-F from 5 to 7pm and they have amazing food and drink specials! I absolutely love the bruschetta! Sooooo good!

The steaks are always cooked perfectly and I love all the sides! From the shoe string fries to the baked potatoes or lobster bisque! You will not be disappointed.

I can say prices are a bit steep for the are but you get what you pay for and it truly is a higher end dining experience with a nyc vibe with red decor and mood lighting no matter what time of day you visit!

Located in the mall with ample parking just outside Lancaster proper. Food was very fairly priced and good considering. By no means fine dining but exceeded my expectations for a mall restaurant. I had cheese steak egg rolls and bang bang shrimp for an app which I'd both recommend. Also had the lobster bisque special which was a highlight. Loads of tasty lobster in large pieces. Filet Oscar for a meal which was good, however would likely order something of more standard fare on my next trip.

Service was ok, seemed like our waiter was relatively new but still friendly and helpful. Managers were walking around and said high and able to assist.

Our booth was in poor shape and could use a cushion replacement as it was all ripped up which took away from the ambiance.

All in all, I'd return for a meal, but would go elsewhere where for a special night out

Decor/service: service was very friendly and quick. However I have never seen so many staff members for one restaurant. There at times was like 10 staff members standing around by the hostess staff. 4/5

Food: the food was basically upscale bar food that was average overall.

Cheesesteak eggrolls were over cooked on the outside and cold on the inside and the sauce was awful. 2/5

Cajun ribeye was over cooked and overall just lacked flavor. I expect a ribeye to be full of flavor. This one not so much 3/5

Lobster bisque- by far the best item we had. Good flavors and good chunks of lobster 4/5

Braised short ribs- the sauce just didn't do it for me. The meat and potatoes were good but the sauce had a Buffett flavor to it. 3/5

The American bar and restaurant offered a vibrant atmosphere with a diverse menu. It's a classic restaurant from my childhood in the city's only mall. The short ribs were tender and succulent, leaving a lasting impression. The salmon, expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection, provided a delightful seafood option. However, the only drawback was the smaller-than-usual portion size of the fries, which left some patrons wanting more. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, accentuated by a friendly staff and a lively ambiance that captured the essence of American hospitality.

I now see why this place has so many good reviews! In May 2021 I came here just for some cocktails and absolutely love the drinks and service. For a while now, I've been wanting to come back and see if the food is just as good. And spoiler alert: it is!

I ordered the Texas tenders with a side of fries and the garlic whipped potatoes. The tenders were, dare I say, so moist and juicy! And the batter isn't too crunchy, but it's sooo good! I liked the fries, they're more like shoestring fries, so if you don't prefer that then I'd skip out on them. The garlic whip potatoes were my absolute favorite thing on the plate! And that's saying a lot since I'm not a huge mashed potatoes person!

I seriously can't wait until I can come back! I highly recommend the food and cocktails!

I've never had bad food here-my go to is the filet with lump crab meat, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. They aren't greedy with the crab meat either

Ambiance, service, food spectacular! Nice place for an intimate lunch or dinner. I enjoy being so close to Baltimore to taste delicious crab meat! Although I did not want the bun with the crabmeat I'm glad I received it. Chicken Alfredo the sauce makes the dish. The cinnamon apples did not meet my expectations. The cheeseburger is cooked well and the fries are crispy and seasoned. Chocolate Martini perfect! Ordered desserts to go will update.

Cheesecake Factory never go wrong...nice combination, rich.

Chocolate chip cookie smells good and tasted ok.

Ice cream smooth, creamy flavorful. Brownie chocolately as advertised and delicious the day after.

Would definitely order desserts again!

It's more like a 3.5 but since that doesn't exist we will round up. First time ever and I think if I lived closer I'd probably go back and try again. We got the warm bread and maple syrup butter which was delicious. We quickly ordered and waitress was really nice. Our food came out pretty quickly and my burger was cooked to perfection and was delicious!!! My son was hungry and quickly ate his ribs. After he's eaten almost half I asked to taste and I realize its cold. I asked him and he said yeah they came out like that. He's 16 so he just ate it but their food shouldn't be served mildly warm and I mean mildly. For the type of restaurant they seem to try to be this is unacceptable

First off, my wife had the Thai Steak Noodle Salad special and I had the 1/2 Cajun Chicken sandwich with the Lobster Bisque. My wife liked the salad but she thought the salad could have used more dressing...it was still good. The lobster bisque was fantastic. Big chunks of lobster and the soup had a great lobster taste. The sandwich was on the small side but tasted very good. The overall bill was $44 total including tax. The ambience was very good and had an upscale feel. I think the overall ratings are spot since I would rate this a little higher than a 4 and recommend it. Service was good also.

Went back recently,
Had a dish that was Texas Chicken tenders and ribs,
OMG I have never had chicken tenders so moist and tender.
and the ribs were fall off the bone!
My parting comment to my wife was,
"I'm trying these again on our next visit, just to see if it was a fluke as to how tender these are. If it's consistent, this is my "go to" dish going forward.
