Old school place with a long history. Unpretentious menu, down home food and friendly service.
I visited on a rainy weekday for the first time. Located in a strip mall, it's a small place (hence the name, I suppose).
With just a handful of tables, I chose a seat near the window. In the mood for comfort food, I ordered a cheeseburger and mashed potatoes - plus brown gravy. Also, a dinner roll on the side, which turned out to be a hamburger roll, buttered, then put on the grill so it got nice and crisp along the edges.
The burger was tasty! The mashed potatoes were a bit dry, though the gravy was delicious.
I was still hungry, but my eyes are typically bigger than my stomach. I got a side of fries and the portion was huge! Hot from the fryer crinkle cut fries came to the table quickly. I enjoyed the crispy on the outside, appropriately mashy on the inside sticks, dipped in mayo and ketchup.
A nice place to step back in time (that could use some updating), though it's a nice stop to fill your belly.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 14, 2016
Before starting our trip, boyfriend and I were looking for a spot for dinner near our hotel. We agreed upon Itty-Bitty for their great reviews. They are small and filled up quick. We shared an ordered of breaded mushrooms. The marinara sauce was divine. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with sauteed onions and boyfriend ordered hamburger, both with side of onion rings. The burgers were so juicy and good. The onion rings were like crispy onion straws. And were really good dipped in ranch. The waitress was very nice and personable and it was a great experience. Prices were very reasonable and was cool to see the Route 66 mural and the license plates from different states. We may have to stop back before our trip back home.

Little hole in the wall. Nice place. We all had burgers. Very good. They get a ton of call in/carry out orders. The place is decked out in Route 66. A hand painted map and license plates from every state rte. 66 passes through. I will be back if ever this way again!

We looked at this place on Yelp but I wasn't sure if it was what my stomach was looking for. They have many options, inexpensive and the best service I have ever had. The butterscotch pie was delicious and the lady who runs the place is a sweetheart.

It really is an itty bitty place. We had a pork tenderloin, pulled pork bbq sandwich and fried catfish. Food came out HOT. My catfish was very good. Pork tenderloin "ok", bbq was very good. Wait staff was outstanding. By the time we left, the place was packed with locals. Really felt like a home cooked meal. Menu from June 21, 2017 is attached.

This is the kind of place I love to find. Just a little hole-in-the-wall in a nowhere town (no offence, Granite City) with great food and prices from 20 years ago.
I ordered one burger with grilled onions and one with grilled jalapeños. Next time I'll get both on both. I recommend it highly. Don't be afraid of trying the jalapeños; they're not terribly hot.
I drive tractor trailer, so I eat all around the country. It's not nice to say, but most hamburgers are poor at best. I always get my burgers plain so I can really taste them, and if they aren't great I add ketchup and mustard. As a burger expert (I've had $15 burgers and $3 burgers) I can tell you: these little beauties don't need any condiments. Vegetables are for salad, not for burgers, so I cannot comment on the quality of their greens.
I'm not really one for fries, but I got the American fries because I'd never had them before. I'll be having these happy little chunks of crispy potatoes next time as well.
The place was clean and service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steven W.Las Vegas, NV61111Jan 28, 2018
Great food coming out of a small place. Excellent hamburger and fries. Fish sandwich was tasty as well. Straight forward cooking and excellent service. Have not been here for breakfast, but a great lunch spot. Avoid the chain restaurants and stop in at the local spots that have good Yelp reviews. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Food was good, fast, and plentiful. Service was polite but somewhat slow. Everything looked clean but it could use a little TLC. Also noticed that about half the tables weren't stocked with napkins and the condiment bottles were either empty or missing
