As a massage therapist since 1997, I specialize in energetic deep tissue massage. I am a goal oriented therapist that has been trained in various modalities: neuromuscular, positional release, Ortho-bionomy, Rieki, and Lymphatic drainage. However, I have not found "one" technique that works for everyone, so I tend to flow through the techniques until I see one that works for that person. I also use crystal healing and aromatherapy to help facilitate the release of stress. My clients usually come in with a complaint of some sort; whether it be neck, back, knee, or shoulder. I've seen it all. Some come in after heart surgery, knee or hip replacement, all with some pain. I work the area and follow the tension throughout the body.

First I will start by saying the actual massage was great. I would give that a five star. However, her demeanor came off as very unwelcoming. It was my first time there and I am used to going to spas therefore I really didn't know what to expect. When I finally arrived (difficult to locate with GPS) she was on the phone and asked if I would wait (it was approx 4-5 mins) so I did. When she was done she instructed me as to where to go and I asked if it was okay if I went to the restroom first. Her response, "Oh geesh, yes go ahead"!! When it was time to get started she explained to me that I was to lay on the bed and so I did yet I was unsure as to which way because at the spas they will instruct us to get undressed to our comfort level and which way to lay on our bodies. So when she came in she asked why wasn't I under the blanket which had a cover on top that I was already under. I simply explained that I was unsure how she wanted me to lay. Another rude response: " I thought you said you had massages before?" I expressed that I have, just not with her and I really didn't understand what she was asking of me. So she goes to say "well isn't it the same?" I just said sure whatever, primarily because I came to get pampered and have tension and stress relieved from my mind and body yet she was adding to it, not to mention her dog walking around in the room, so much for client allergies. To top it all off, it was Valentines Day! What a way to start it off.
Luckily I did not have to pay for this service and it was a gift to me from someone who researched her and heard she is rated on of the best in the tri-state. Her work is actually good but I believe I can find that same service yet with great client service as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
