Yvonne L.Fresno, CA7113Sep 1, 2021Dr. Hiyama is truly a great doctor, my son was seen, he's 7, she was very patient and explained everything perfectly, the technician Javier did a great job and was very interactive, also the receptionist Regina that took my call was very accommodating and the sweetest! They all made our experience here a great one!

Sunny D.Clovis, CA041Nov 2, 2021Insight has been great so far! But...the nurses who touch near your eye or put eye drops in your eyes - do not wear gloves, which is a bit concerning. Otherwise they've been friendly, helpful and very nice.

So I assumed the eye doctor I was scheduled with did lasik, which he did not. I was ready to schedule surgery and pay cash upfront. But they told me I would also have to make another appointment for a separate lasik consultation. This office loves to waste your time.

This was the longest I have ever waited during an eye appointment and I've been having eye exams annually for over 20 years. I was there for almost 3 hours and the whole experience felt like we were being herded like cattle. The doctor was pleasant enough. We saw Dr. Scott and we liked him. But all of the patients were agitated from waiting for so long. No offer to order contacts. I had to ask the girl at the front about ordering contacts and she replied, "You don't order them online?" And then thumbed through her little binder of contact prices like she couldn't believe I was asking her to do her job. She had no idea what she was doing because she had to call the tech and ask what type of contacts I was being prescribed. She was literally holding the prescription in her hand. I finally just told her to forget it and I would get them elsewhere. No prescriptions for glasses were given. We were told to go downstairs to get our glass prescriptions from the separate Eyewear location. Then downstairs, they told us they were too busy and closing in 30 mins so we would have to make another appointment to come back to pick and get fitted for glasses. We spent 3 hours there and didn't even get to pick glasses or order contacts. We will not be returning.

I've been going to Dr. Scott here since I was nine years old. I've always had a good experience with the staff and Dr. Scott. Things are done kindly, efficiently, and always accurately.

Christine W.Hanford, CA298Feb 1, 2018When making an appointment I wanted to make sure that they were a provider for my insurance. The appointment clerk assured me that they took VSP insurance. After my family member was seen and we were checking out we were told that the insurances didn't cover it and had to pay for the entire bill and just not our deductible. Evidentially VSP has several options for vision care and we had one that this facility didn't take. Beware before you make an appointment and they tell you it's covered and then have to pay the entire bill after your appointment.

Nobody knows their business like Eric and all of his competent associates. State of the art equipment. The latest greatest of everything. You can trust your eyes to these guys. Don't even think twice. Tell them Crazy Bernie sent you!
