We were cruising around the Depot District on a Sunday, and hungry. All of the higher end places were closed so we decided to take a shot here.
It's a dive bar for sure, serving up some basic grub. In fact it's a genuine bar and grill, with the grill behind the bar.
Dark, smokey, and super friendly. Some interesting characters here. The barkeep had a beard and a good memory and cooked us up a couple of really tasty burgers with the works. The burger patties were fresh, and it was fun to watch him in action at the grill, seasoning them up and toasting the buns.
They've got a TT jukebox, pulltabs and a pool table.
They have accepted the fact that Erica won't ever be back and are forging ahead as best they can.
If you don't do dives, this is not your place, but if you want a cold one and a fresh made hot sandwich under six bucks, come on in and grab a seat. Even on a Sunday.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dana O.Richmond, IN01Jan 21, 2024
I have been going here for 10 years. The owners rock. The atmosphere is quient. No rowdyness. Well managed. Great food and service. The best home town bar with very nice people. Pool table and clean. If your looking for a place that cares, this is it. I love my Inn Zone.

The bartender with long black hair and glasses is very hateful. Banging on the bathroom door. Walked out and she rolled her eyes more then once and had everyone looking at the bar at me for using the restroom. Will not be back. Highly recommend to find somewhere else in Richmond.
