Imren is the reason why 1 star review exist. Have you ever been scammed or went to a tourist trap?

I am a native berliner. Born and raised and this place is a disgrace. They spent tons of money in marketing and pay merchandise and YouTubers to promote their shitty spot.

      Why is it that bad?
      1) For 4€ - the portions are almost just bread. I laughed when I received my Döner. Like seriously?
      2) The taste - don't be fooled. Berliner Döner are way better than this.
      3) Hygiene- we all love when the person serving you using his hands to do all the shit.

Overall. I am very disappointed by Imren in all areas and disappointed by everyone who seriously promotes this place.

Found this place on Yelp when searching for a nearby kebab close to the airbnb I was staying. The restaurant is quite small and I will dare to say staff is very rude. I ordered a kebap (as they spell in Germany) with everything. It's funny how there is signs around the restaurant saying that their meat is 100% bovine, what else would it be? Better not to know.

Kebab was very big, so big I couldn't finish. Taste was ok, salad was not as fresh was I would expect and the meat could be juicer. But none of that would have bothered me if the man attending us was a bit nicer and respectful.
Not sure I would go back with so many nice kebab joints around the city, specially in Neukölin.

Traditonal Turkish restsurant with cheap prices and many options from home made food to Pide to Döner kebab to Baklava ..
I like the lentil soup and Pide mit käse the most ...

I'd give this one a miss unless average food and bad service don't bother you.

There are two queues - one to order for the restaurant area, one to order for takeaway (though it just looks like one at first...). Dishes available include soups, pide, doner, falafel, etc. We were in a hurry so we got food to go.

My food was really quite average and the salad was limp and tasteless. OH had the doner and found it to be dried out and not as good as the other Turkish places we'd been to. It took a while to get served, and the counter staff were rude.

Better than average kebab - great quality meat - at an average cost. I'll be coming here every time I'm in a mood for kebab. Coming in here for the first time felt like walking into the TARDIS - on the outside it looks small but inside it's quite big, and it's busier than it looks as well. Will definitely be back soon.

Ahh where to go for that late night snack after after a night out!?
There is always Imren right down the street. This is not your ordinary Doener, the mix of spices
makes it stand out from the crowd. The lahmacun is incredible and so is their lentil soup.
Forget the wannabe Doener at Alex and try this one. The taste and size of these behemoths will make anyone a believer and it's right down the street from my house, WOWIE!!!

I could exist on their soups alone. The Döner is like nothing else. In fact, everything on the menu is amazing. Everything people say is true.

I just moved to the area and was starving, so I decided to get some Turkish food. Living in Neukölln this brings new challenges, as there are too many options. I chose to go into the first nice-looking place and ended up here. I must say the staff the really friendly, the food was delicious, it was cheap, and they even offer free tea at the end. The place looks like a typical Turkish 'bistro,' so not very chic, but for what it is it fits. There are standing tables in the front and seating options in the back. I will definitely be going here again (If you're a vegetarian you have way less options, but the Pide options and Turkish pizza with salad are delicious).

I've never had döner Iike this and since I've arrived in Berlin it's been my mission to try all the best- mustafa's has great chicken döner- but now I know where the best beef döner is. Wow. Beef meat with lamb fat on it- and it actually looks and tastes like meat! Also the spices/herbs they include in the döner were unique. Awesome awesome döner. They also have some amazing looking stews.

One the best Döner in town. It's 100% beef and has some nice spices. It's not like every other Döner in Berlin and a little bit pricier but the taste is just awesome :D
