It was pretty good! Nice date with my partner. I would say the food was quick and appetizers were good. Definitely come dressed nice the ambiance seemed for fine dining, which is fine just a little odd for the location. Waiter was good and friendly, but I will say there is no drink menu with prices so just prepped to pay lol.

Il Costellos: A Gem of Italian Cuisine
If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic and delicious Italian food, look no further than Il Costellos. Located on Main Street, this restaurant offers a cozy and elegant atmosphere that is both upscale and relaxed. You will feel like you are in an Italian garden mansion, with beautiful decor and silverware.
The food is equally impressive, with a variety of dishes to suit your taste buds. Try the mushroom ravioli, topped with feta cheese, for a divine experience. The sauce is perfectly balanced, not too sweet or bland, and complements the mushroom and cheese flavors. Or go for the rigatoni vodka, with a generous amount of sauce and peas that add a touch of freshness and color. This dish will make you fall in love with peas, as they enhance the taste and texture of the pasta. The dishes are exquisite and authentic, made with fresh ingredients and love.
You can also order take out, if you prefer to enjoy your food at home. Whether you want to dine in style or grab a quick bite, Il Costellos has you covered. Don't miss the chance to try their delicious wine, too. Il Costellos is a gem of Italian cuisine that you will want to visit again and again.

Recently ate here for a business meeting.
The service was top notch and truly made for a delightful experience.
After bread and drinks, one of our diners ordered the Shrimp Arrabiata (rock shrimp sautéed with garlic, white wine, herbs, lemon, hot pepper flakes and a touch of butter) for $12.00. There were two plates ordered and shared across 6 people. It was very very good but I would recommend it be shared just between two people and that it be eaten with the bread they serve.
For my entrée, I chose the Ravioli Al Funghi (mushroom ravioli with cream truffle sauce and crumbled goat cheese) for $19.50 and the Grigliata Mista Di Verdure Con Olio Di Tartufato (grilled vegetables in truffle oil) for $12.00.
The ravioli was sooooooo good. I would definitely recommend it and order it again. It is a very small portion so keep that in mind if you're really really hungry. The vegetables were a little disappointing. It included some grilled peppers, eggplant, oblong onion, and radicchio. They were fine but they were very difficult to cut. The onion was undercooked and still too firm to cut easily, but the radicchio was overcooked and the leaves were too leathery to cut. So, I ate one pepper, a little bit of the onion, and tried to eat the radicchio but it was impossible.
We all finished our meals with coffee. The cappuccino was excellent and was served with a tiny little biscotti which was the perfect foil for the rich drink.
This is an excellent restaurant if you're looking for fine dining, good Italian food, good service, and white tablecloths.
I didn't drink the wine but those that did felt the house wines (by the glass) were very good.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 3721890159Jun 19, 2022
I suspect the central focus of modern restaurant design is to leave you with an acute case of tinnitus and hand tremors as the current brood of restauranteur head bangers crank up the IMAX worthy ambush of ambient noise to "11."
So it really goes without saying that I'm not close to my best or most relaxed when dining in the middle of a Black Sabbath soundcheck. In that spirit, I really enjoyed our recent meal at Il Castello's in Woodbridge which put me right at ease with an elegant and subdued Tuscan vibe joined to a stellar menu and on point, unobtrusive service.
My artichoke linguini with a seafood base of almost prawn sized shrimp was a great choice among many. However, what's truly appreciated is being unrushed and being afforded the opportunity to linger and leave the bullhorn and throat lozenges at home. Five easy stars. Ozzy not included.Helpful 23Thanks 0Love this 16Oh no 1 - Jessica M.Carteret, NJ14249108Feb 11, 2023
We just came here for an early Valentines Day dinner. One good thing about this place is the parking.they do have their own parking lot but ofc we didn't see it and ended up parking in the free parking lot behind the block. So we walked in and it's a little weird because the entrance is in an alleyway but it's so cute once you walk in. One thing you will see is "proper attire is required" which is a little weird to me because there were people wearing jeans and sneakers but whatever. But you do need to make a reservation! Once we got there and told the host our names we were immediately seated. We were seated a table where it seems like they sit smaller parties of 2-4. Once we sat someone came over and asked if we would like water. Shortly after the same man came back and asked if we would like something to drink. Our drinks were really good. The Cabernet I had was good to me. It wasn't too bitter.I ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and the pappardelle bolognese as my meal! The shrimp cocktail was alright (not the biggest fan of colossal shrimp) but my BOLOGNESE was soooooo good! I would definitely say go for the bolognese if you do come! My boyfriend has the lamb sausages and the asparagus risotto which was also very good! Best thing was it wasn't that expensive! Considering we each had two rounds of drinks and he had a dessert, it honestly is a good deal when you eat here.
This place has excellent food, service and the atmosphere is just wonderful! If you are in the Woodbridge area definitely check it outHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Christina T.Jersey City, NJ172169Sep 23, 2023
Came here for a 60th birthday party. The food was fairly good but the real stars were the staff. Tijana and her team did an excellent job running the show. Very professional and always available to help. Book your next event with them, you won't regret the service.

We (22 people) went to Il Castello's after a very sad funeral at a cemetery in the neighborhood. Angelo and Tiana took superb care of us." (truth is that it was Angelo's birthday and he left us in Tiana's capable hands). The food and wine were amazing and a sad time was made easier by the warm care and hospitality of Il Castello's. Thank you.

Reserved a table for 12 for a birthday dinner and I cannot say enough good things. Everything was perfect, from the ambience to the food and, above all, the friendly and attentive service. Every one of us cleaned our plates because the food was so delicious! The staff worked like a perfectly synchronized team throughout the meal. They were patient, kind, and skilled. We so appreciate you! Thank you!
