Vesuvio's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant

Fairly new to the area and we first tried Vesuvios about a year and a half ago... And my goodness, it definitely takes the trophy for best pizza in the area!

They only serve the best quality food with the freshest ingredients and they do not skimp on portion size! Pies are cooked to order or you can get a ready made slice if you're in a hurry!

I absolutely love the "special" pizza which is sausage, peppers, onions, pepperoni and mushroom, but went for a special on the menu today (see photo) and was equally as amazing!

The dining room, bar and outdoor patio are always kept clean and sanitized and the service is great! You'll be greeted by several staff on any given visit!!! Drinks and desserts are amazing, and their marinara is delightful!!!

Our son loves the Stromboli and Calzones and other must try items are the steak bites, subs and soups! Husband gets the lobster any time it's on menu. While prices are very reasonable, they also offer weekly specials and have a great happy hour, too!

Never had a bad plate and definitely a must try when you're visiting Six Flags, the outlets or anywhere close!

Okay for a pizza place that has a bar. We stopped in based on pizza group review. Being gluten free my wife had a Caesar salad with shrimp, It's was okay. My son and I split a pizza, half plain and half sausage, peppers and onions. Came out hot and looked great, but it didn't have much flavor. 7.1 out of 10. Service was ok, felt like they were understaffed and we had to ask other servers to assist with drinks and such.

I never ate inside. I picked up my food a few times and everyone was very nice and sweet. Everything is usually great! The inside seems very beautiful and clean!

Ughhh another place I want to love because it's a local business and I hear great things about the owner. I have to say I feel like I'm in the minority here because I just don't love the food. The place has a large bar attached to the restaurant side and it's cute inside but the food we went there for their steak night special and I feel like it's more the novelty of what they're doing than quality. We also went for the basics - the chicken parm pizza was not great and I've ordered just plain pizza, chicken parm sandwiches from there too and I just can't get onboard. I've given this place so many chances because I want to love it!

Love this hometown favorite pizzeria that hasn't lost a beat even with 2 expansions. Food is still great and now there's much more seating and a nice bar atmosphere. The Waite staff are friendly and you gets lots of great food without breaking the bank.

Excellent Italian food and pizza. We highly recommend for a date night or family night.

I have been a customer since the 90's, way, way before they expanded! Pizza and food are always great, consistent, not to mention very yummy and they are a super nice family run business!

Let me start by saying I'm an Italian-American who grew up with great Italian cooking in my home. So most Italian restaurants don't really do much for me. I don't live in Millstone, or even New Jersey, but I was in the area for a week. In that time I went to Vesuvio's twice and thoroughly enjoyed every bite of food I had. All the Italian staples are there and taste like a home cooked meal. What really blew me away was the rib-eye special I had. It was as good as anything I've had at expensive steak houses! As I said, I don't live in the area, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my Italian mother and grandmother to enjoy the delicious food! Besides the palette pleasing cuisine, the staff is friendly and attentive, while Frank, the owner, treats you like family. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Why is it so hard to find good pizza? :( we tried ordering twice in case they were having a B team kinda day, but they were both fails. And the entrees were meh too.. it's a shame because it's so close to us!!

I went here today for a party and really loved it here! First, it smelled so good when we got our of the car, but I could hardly stand it. We had cried calamari and charcuterie boards, fried calamari, penne pasta, chicken vesuvio and eggplant rollatini. These dishes were so good! They were creamy and full of flavor. Also the staff was great. They were so friendly and helpful.
