After spending some time at the Air France "lounge", I decided to check out this wine bar. I didn't check out the Yelp app otherwise I would have saved myself the money!
Yes, the service is that bad. Given that several international flights leave at the same time, this service deficiencies become very problematic. During my visit, multiple parties had to cancel their orders at the same time. This easy feat was almost impossible to accomplish as the servers were nowhere to be found! People just left cash on the table and ran to their terminal.

One star is way too much. It's where you go to drink just because you can't stand being stuck here. Equipment is often broken, they run out of ice in the summer, and there is not nearly enough seating for the volume of passengers subjected to torturous Terminal 1. The Port Authority Bus Terminal and Penn Station are like being in Maui compared to this place.

Went there for a late night salad and they gave me molded cucumbers... I know they saw the cucumber was no good when they cut it . It's obvious they don't care ... who knows why else kind of spoiled food their serving to people .

This is the worst place at JFK skip it all together. The service was atrocious the waitress never checked on us and we eventually had to cancel our food order as to not miss our flight. The beer was even over priced. I get that you may have to pay a premium because you are in an airport but $10.50 for a draft beer? Come on beer on the plane doesn't even cost that much.

I sat in this place with food that I bought in a different place. Bartender run to me and asked me what I want to order and that my order should be more than $10 dollars. Since I wanted only drink which is cheaper I had to leave this place.
I got curious and offended by his statement because I never ever was told about money limit anywhere I got back to this place 10 minutes later and asked him if I have have to order for $10 dollars still because I do not have any food and asked him to show me that money limit rule in written.
He started almost yelling at me that I can't be sitting there. That is US and this is how US operates. He was seriously so pushing and rude. SI have been living in US for 8 years and have never experienced so RUDE and OFFENSIVE customer service.
This guys is a middle aged African American bartender. Here in airport, he represents US very unpleasantly.

The service here can best be described as "shitacular." We cooled our heels for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging our presence - at an airport restaurant, mind you - got up to place the order at the bar finally, was summarily told to sit down. Ten minutes later, the waitress finally slouched by, only to tell us that the kitchen was closed. If slugs were to deliver you rotted food on a tray of cockroaches, That would be a better restaurant to go to, judging from the sad remnants of glutinous stale kitchen fodder we saw. Eat here only if you're killing time, then eating the time, because they apparently don't serve food.

Ordered fruit platter with cheese. Grapes were rotten and cheese

I forgot a book, came back 10 minutes later and was told by randel and Mac that

I arrived and plug my computer while waiting for boarding. i ordered a perrier, the waiter at the bar was very rude and asked me to leave unless i bought food! I took a salad and it was disgusting... Turn away from there, unless you love a crappy service and disgusting expensive tasteless food.
