Iconic Salon

I needed to find a new stylist and was being impatient wanting it TODAY because I had let my ends get so bad. I called a few places that couldn't get me in which I figured and then came to iconic and Tanner happened to be open. He is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I have no idea how I got in same day but his work was amazing. He explained everything and made sure I was getting what I wanted. Listened to all my issues with my hair(and other things lol) and I couldn't be happier. It looks great and I already booked my next appointment before I left.

Oh and he's funny and easy to talk to so the experience was natural comfortable and fun.

I definitely recommend iconic and MOST IMPORTANTLY TANNER!

Eve is the best stylist at the salon! She is absolutely amazing with fusion extensions, color, and styling as well as providing fantastic conversation and company.

I have been searching for my "go-to" gal for a very long time, and I'll follow Eve wherever she goes!!

I needed to knock out some bleach blonde streaks in my hair and get my head re-shaped, so I went in and saw Eve.

She did a great job fixing the color and getting my hair into order without taking too much off of it. She also totally took care of me, scouring up the most current issue of Hour [I needed to do some research!] and plying me with drinks as she cleaned me up. She also totally fixed my cowlick bangs and gave me some brushing tips to take home on taming 'em.

The other staff here is super nice and professional too.


I walked in looking like a herd of cats had made their feral home on my head, and walked out looking like a World War II era pretty lady. Super pleased with the joint and can't recommend it enough.

I came here for the first time today after a recommendation by my partner, and I've never been so happy with my hair and the experience.
Eve is an amazing stylist. There are few people in the world who have such vision and passion about her craft as she does.
She gets hair and she gets the people who come along with it. An artist in her own right. I'm so happy to have found my stylist.

Love the atmosphere at Iconic. The staff is fantastic and you'll get first class treatment. The staff definitely seems to go the extra mile compared to other salons.

One thing that really stands out is the time and attention their stylists and assistants put into the shampoo. The spend more time on it than anywhere else I've been and it's really more of a massage than just a shampoo. It practically puts me to sleep every time!

Well, after reading the reviews and seeing the photos of Eve's work, I decided to go in and see her for an ombre/subtle highlight look. She was very helpful and great to talk to, and she did an amazing job! She did exactly what I asked. I came in with my natural hair color, mousey brown, and she made it look great. Go and see her for a color! I didn't get a major cut or anything so I can't comment on that, but for color she was fab.

Today I had my first appointment at Iconic Salon, Heather was my stylist and she was awesome! She made me feel comfortable, listened to what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. As a guy it can be intimidating entering a hair salon looking to get color done along with your haircut, Heather took her time with it and didn't make me feel awkward about getting the process done. I like that!

Fellas if you want a killer stylist at Iconic Salon, I recommend Heather without a doubt. If you are hesitant about getting color done, don't be... just ask for Heather and she will set you up proper

This place is great! The atmosphere is awesome, lots of great art hanging up and great music playing. Everyone who works the front desk has been welcoming and very nice!

I had been jumping around hair salons for years before I found this place, have been back to Iconic 4 times now and will continue to go here. Mallory has cut and colored my hair since my first appointment here and I think she is great! Very friendly and listens to what you want done to your hair and does it! I don't get my hair done as often as I should but when I do it will continue to be at Iconic!

Ok, so usually I don't update my original reviews, but I wanted to make additional comments.

So my hairstylist Jessie moved. :( When I made my hair appointment for cut and color, they set me up with Juda...who is awesome, not only because she has curly hair like me ( ! ) but she knew exactly what to do with my hair and what products I should be using. I didn't get anything fancy...just a layered trim and color, but I am very happy with the results.

This is still my salon!

There are only but a few stylists that "get" my hair texture and Judah ranks at the top. She took the time to understand what I needed & went all in. Received the best blowout & curl I've had all year after trying 2 others, which were out of convenience & price more than anything. Iconic Salon with Judah will definitely be my go to spot on my trips back to the metro Detroit area!
