Ickey Nickel Bar & Grill

I play volleyball there they don't have enough tables on the courts I refuse to eat there because it will take over 1.5 hrs to get your food. Last week some friends order food they ended up with cooked flies in their burger they complained to the management and they were kicked out. This place has been sold to different owners so I would rely on older reviews

Unprofessional. Alienating half their customer base. They deleted evidence of this after first defending their decision to fly these flags. Later they claimed that they were hung without permission but employees claim they asked the owner not to hang them. Now they've removed all comments and ability to review via facebook. They are scummy.

After waiting for an hour and a half today for food while others came in after we did being served, we were told they put our order in as a to go! Never checked on us or our food. The food sat on the counter for quite some time and yet they were still going to bring it to the table. We offered to pay for our drinks and were told to "just go". No apology either. I gave one star because I couldn't post with no stars.

I'm updating and taking away a star because the service here is just going down the drain...

Closed Mondays now. I wanted to stop here after I saw a few of the negative reviews that had nothing to do with the service or the food. Sadly it was closed. I'll try it again when I'm in the area

I have always loved the nickel but I have to say this place has really gone down hill. The service is terrible! The servers are not friendly and do not check back with you to see if everything is ok or if you need anything. I wanted to order a sandwich with cheese balls instead of fries and they told me they would take a $1.00 off the sandwich price and pay full price for the cheese balls. I agreed to this assuming I was going to get a basket of cheese balls and instead I got 15 cheese balls in the basket with my sandwich. 15 cheese balls for an extra $5.50......wow! My sandwich and cheese balls were a total of $13.25. That is outrageous for bar food!

I wrote a poor review a year ago. I complained of the wash stations for volleyball running into the courts, a confusing menu where staff didn't know what was what, poor volleyball organization, beer prices that weren't consistent, staff that didn't care... literally ALL of that has been fixed! Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars!

The food is above average for bar food! Good volleyball courts, lots of fun here!

I used to absolutely love this bar but I won't even give them my business anymore. When Jim and Jan owned this place it was probably one of the best bars in town. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the owner make a complete ass of himself while he's there. Belligerent drunk who is rude to his own wait staff. If you're going to demand that your waitress gets your drinks first because you own the place, at least tip the girls. Disgusting. Food is 3 stars. Location is 5, owner gives this place a big fat zero.
