Ichiban Japanese Steak House

We were there for dinner during spring break. Walked right in to a table. Meals were huge! We couldn't eat it all. Sushi and Sashimi Combo dinner with ginger salad and mushroom soup. Delicious!

Bento box: chicken, shrimp, sushi, pot stickers, fried rice, ginger salad, mushroom soup, tempura veggies. Yummy!

Dinner was less than $60 for the two of us with one soda. Pleasant staff.

My wife and I both got food poisoning from whatever contaminated our takeout order. Worsts Friday night ever. Lots of upset stomach and diarrhea.

It took a while for the cook to get started, but we learned later it was because of the waiter getting the order turned in. Patty of 6 and we all enjoyed the hibachi experience and the food was absolutely delicious.

Sorry to say I have to downgrade them after our last lunch there. The whole place from the outside to the inside needs a deep cleaning and has for awhile now. 2 stars. Lunch sashimi plate had subpar tuna on it to go with the salmon and yellowtail. 3 stars. The service was pleasant and efficient. 4 stars.

We will take a break here for a bit and maybe try their hibachi next time we come in which we have not tried.

I hope they can address the cleanliness issue. It will help their business I believe.

Very friendly staff. Incredible crab Rangoons. Incredible hibachi. Surprised to see they served Shirley temples . Lovely atmosphere.

We come here somewhat often, usually ordering the shrimp tempura roll and hibachi steak with fried rice. The food is very delicious, price is reasonable and the service and servers are great!

I've gotten food poisoning from here twice!! Do not eat here it's not worth puking for the next 5 hrs

The outside appearance needs updating, but the food was great! It took a minute for our hibachi cook to start, but overall the service was great.

My wife and I had dinner here last night after driving all day. I hate hibachi restaurants that force you to order two hibachi meals to sit at their tables. I would not have gone if I had known this prior to our arrival, but it was a long day so I said fine and we sat in the sushi area as we are sushi fans as well.

I had the Nimo Roll which came with a free tuna and avocado roll and I opted for the salad for $1 more. My wife had the super crunch roll. We didn't leave hungry, but our experience with sushi in this area has been very below average. The spicy mayo and wasabi mayo covering the Nimo roll definitely detracted from the roll overall. The rice was mediocre and the rolls really didn't have much flavor. The salad was just lettuce and maybe a shaved carrot or two and watered down ginger dressing.

On the positive side our server was very attentive and pleasant. She is the reason this isn't a one star review. There are definitely better alternatives south on 59.
