I love the daily special which included a cup of tea. I love the popcorn chicken.
I usually buy the special meal box for a hungry teenager.
The service is always friendly & quickly.
This is just a clean restaurant.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 10, 2024
Craved some Taiwanese stinky tofu while I was in California so my Aunt took me to this place for some deep fried stinky tofu. Some traditional cold cut appetizers. Taiwanese fried rice noodles and last but not least some rice noodle in thick sticky starchy broth and pork intestines. Don't say it's not good till you tried it !
Small biz where the boss lady comes to take ur order. Quaint little place, reminds me of an eatery back in Taiwan.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elly L.Lake Forest, CA14767Feb 15, 20241 check-in
First time I've been here and I loved the presentation of the to-go meal trays. I ended up getting the popcorn chicken with rice special which comes with a black or green tea. The popcorn chicken was juicy and hot, straight off the stove. I love how they fried a lot of thai basil with them, so you get a nice light crunch when you bite into the leaves. The rice was cooked well and seasoned with a sauce and some pork pieces, which definitely made it more enjoyable. The steamed veggies were also flavorful and the carrots still had a nice bite to them. Overall, very pleasant experience and I will most likely buy again!!

One of my favorites casual Taiwanese restaurants in Irvine area. They did a good job with typical Taiwanese-style dishes like popcorn chicken, porkchop rice, etc.
however, for the past few years, they raised prices multiple times. Every time they raise the menu prices, they also cut down the food portions. It getting to a point that's ridiculous.
Now, for dining in, they serve the food in smaller disposable to-go containers, give each dine-in customer a single piece of napkin.
We started questioning why we keep coming here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Yansha Y.Irvine, CA625108183Jul 29, 2023Updated review
My go to lunch spot in Irvine between work breaks!! I love they have the daily special with free drink on side for Monday- Friday! Makes deciding what to order way easier and it's such a good deal! You get carbs veggies and protein all packed into one nice delicious meal the drinks r great too comparable to an actual boba shop!!! And the staff is always very straightforward and accommodating to my extra requests which I really appreciate too!

They have specials for every single day of the week that come with great sides as well. I love just popping in on different days and ordering the specials of the day. Comes with a free black/ green tea as well!!! And if you get boba they also have bogo boba drinks. They're pretty busy so I like to call & order ahead but usually food doesn't take more than 15min to be ready!!! Anyways absolute favorite I love Taiwanese food and I'm so glad this spot exists!!! Very convenient location as well

The first and second time coming here have both been very positive experiences! The food is fairly cheap (with weekly deals) and also filling. The food is very simple but very delicious! One time, my boyfriend went by himself and ordered the Taiwan sausage with rice but he claimed he got a weird looking piece that scared him so he was unable to finish the food. That was probably a one time occasion, though. Overall, if you are looking for a quick meal that's worth your money, come here!

The price of the food is not matching the quality and the service. The food is way overpriced and the fried rice now is $15.5 instead of the $14 from the online menu. They also added $0.5 for the credit card transaction below $20 which was also aggressive. I would not pay $17 for a medium to-go fried rice.

The food here makes me so happy
But y'all need to be consistent about providing tofu and the marinated egg with your lunch bento--opening the box and seeing no tofu, no egg is like finding out you're missing parts in your IKEA furniture halfway through the build. Like... I'm mad about it, but not enough to be mean. Just do it right and we can be cool, ya feel?
Do it right.
Provide the tofu and egg.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
