I-70 & Harlan Towing

Jefferson County recovered my stolen motorcycle and took it to this rip off artist.

I was notified via text message that the bike was there at 0145 AM. After leaving work early to make it there in time, i arrived just before 4 PM to pick it up.

They charged me just shy of 300 dollars for storage and impound fees and informed me "that's the amount Jefferson County allows us to charge" (it was their full price)

No discount or sympathy for it being stolen or that it was sent there by police who never notified me to come recover it elsewhere.

Absolutely f this place.

My wife was in a car accident, met the owner was very nice helpful. Would definitely recommend for towing needs.

Professional courteous and helpful. Honestly, not at all what I would have expected from a towing service. Very pleasantly surprised.

I burned out my alternator and died on the side of I70 and my insurance dispatched them out of their usual area but they came anyway. The driver made great effort to come and get me to the shop. 10/10 support these guys!

The "man" that answered the phone was a complete jerk and very unprofessional. My truck had broken down and he acted like it was an inconvenience that I called and wanted to give them business. I'll definitely never use this company. They are the stereotypical tow truck company. Rude and unprofessional.

Amazing experience.

I unfortunately had the experience of getting my motorcycle stolen. These people towed it when it was discovered. Motorcycles in the same condition when it arrived at the yard as it was when it was picked up. That's well the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.


At one point the Seas of the bike showed up at the yard and tried to tell everyone the bike was theirs, of course I had proof of ownership and so Clint and the other staff escorted her off the premises.

Unfortunately this crazy person was high on something and got confrontational with myself and my elderly mother who drove me over there. The staff was extremely helpful and protective of myself and my mother which we greatly appreciated.

I would recommend them to anyone who needs a tow.

I came across some bad luck and these guys turned my day around. They were kind, courteous and very helpful. They understood my situation and even stayed late to help me. They were actually very nice unlike what you think of tow companies. They're just doing their job. Recommend!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. After they collected my car that was totaled in a wreck I realized I left a textbook from my school in there. I called to ask if I can come pick it up and he told me I would have to pay $205 to get my car out and THEN I can have it. There's no way I am paying $205 for a totaled car I DONT WANT and a text book I can buy for $130. Rather than giving me alternative options he yelled at me to "have a great day" and proceeded to hang up. I thought people were supposed to have a little sympathy after wrecks or the stress we're going through. I understand if laws prohibit us to get our belongings with out buying it back but he could have been at least a little more considerate and offered other options!

Honestly this is one of the better police impound affiliates that I have had to deal with. Service was quick when I went to pick up my car and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone prior to going there was very informative as to exactly what I would need to get my car out and how much it would cost. That being said, there are a few items missing that were in my car at the time of the initial tow as well as the inserts from my front bumper are missing with visible damage done to bumper. Also, something feels extremely loose in the front end of the vehicle. The contents of my car had definitely been rummaged through which I know the police are somewhat responsible for but the fact still remains that some things are missing that had been in the car last I saw. Now, I understand that it may be a common sentiment amongst operators that when picking up a car for police impound purposes there might be less motivation to handle the impounded vehicle with care which appears to be the case with my vehicle. I can say this with confidence because I had my car towed about a week ago by a private party and he had no issues handling my car (read as no damages done to vehicle). Other than those hiccups though my experience with I70 and Harlan towing wasn't too bad.

The man that answered the phone was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked how I could go about retrieving my impounded vehicle and he told me they were closed in a disgusting tone of voice and I asked if they were closed why he would answer the phone. And he went on to be a complete asshole and I now hope he has an absolutely terrible night:)
