      1 check-in

We stayed one night before flying out of ABQ. We were on the top floor, which seemed recently renovated. Everything was clean and tidy. Bed was smaller than expected, but it's only a night. Reception was helpful with our requests. There were no rude staff members at the desk, like other reviews say.

We unfortunately never got to have breakfast because we left at 4am! It wasn't open yet. I'm sure it's just as good as the rest of the chain.

Elevators are ancient, but fine. Outdoor pool was closed seasonally, but filled with clear water.

No way is this hotel a 4/5 stars! This hotel looking like it has quite a few miles on it. Someone is using a filter on the photos. (Or as my son said, "they're catfishing".)

I mean, one elevator is broken. The other elevator left looks like its last maintenance was during the Reagan era. There is a faint smell in the lobby. I should not have overlooked it but really was too tired. Get in the room and it is gloomy as hell. Refrigerator had dirt/food in it. The tub and shower curtain made my skin crawl. I did not shower with the curtain inside.

In 2023, who still has carpet and shower curtains?' These hotels KNOW the housekeepers are not cleaning these items up to the proper professional cleaning standards. Why make things harder???

The hotel is big and it is LITERALLY at the airport. However, I do think I was overcharged given all of these issues and concerns.

However, the ENTIRE staff I encountered was super friendly and helpful! That ALWAYS helps

Great job. Stayed here for CANNACON expo.

$100 less than the nearest above average hotel. The room was clean. No bugs. Couch,tv and fridge. ‍

Lexi the front desk operator was super helpful. I had to print some invoices and she did me a solid !!! Great job. That's above average service for sure.

Lexi !!! 5/21/23. Hyatt you better take good care of her! She's good.

I am delighted to upgrade my previous rating for this hotel . I believe the hotel has been working to improve their services - and it shows . Room was quite comfortable and the hotel was having the guest room carpets steam cleaned during our stay , which demonstrates a commitment to cleanliness. Breakfast quite good as a complimentary amenity. This hotel does have a hotel shuttle. The parking lot is well lit and parking is free. All staff were helpful and friendly, the handwritten note was very appreciated.

I don't know that anything could make my experience and the comfort that I felt staying here any better! I'm solo traveler, and I checked in very late. Tiffany was working the front desk when I came in she took care of me and insisted on VIP parking because it was so late and she didn't find it necessary for me to search for parking. Breakfast in the morning is served from 6 to 9 AM it's delicious and filling! I always enjoy the Hyatt breakfast. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are very clean. My room was updated with new decor and it was very apparent. My room felt private the entire layout was done so nicely. Plenty of mirrors great shower. After driving all night. It was so nice to come into a room with a large bathroom and just put all of my stuff out and regroup. I was rested and ready for my next day of travel! I just really wanted to recognize Tiffany for being such a wonderful and professional front desk supervisor. If you are looking for a place to stay in Albuquerque, not only as the location safe and comfortable, but you are close to the airport, which is a big plus for travelers! five star review without a doubt!

Five stars for the customer service here! We were just overnighting and needed the shuttle service to/from the airport. The staff were welcoming and helpful in answering questions about local restaurants and even provided shuttle service to take us to Starbucks and back! That was a very pleasant surprise.
The hotel itself isn't super fancy, but it was clean and reasonably priced, and the breakfast included hot food options that were, in fact, hot.
Kudos to the friendly and helpful staff.

I'm a Hyatt rewards member. I've visited multiple locations across the country and this was by far the worst Hyatt I've ever stayed at. The room I was originally booked in had a cigarette in the sheets. The man at the front desk with glasses was completely unaccommodating stating that all the rooms were non smoking, trying to pin it on me. Later I came down to the lobby trying to purchase items from the "gallery" and another "front desk man" was completely intoxicated. Awful experience all around. I suggest the managers be replaced immediately. I would recommend staying at the Hyatt place uptown if you are a Hyatt member staying in Albuquerque. Far superior hotel.

Hyatt Places are all the same. In my experience they never disappoint, but sometimes surprise. This one surprised. There is an outdoor pool first of all. Secondly, I got upgraded to a larger room with a dining table and kitchenette plus the standard desk, couch and separate bed area. The staff on arrival were very friendly and walked me around the little grab and go area asking me my preferred food items and putting them in a gift bag for me for free - I got chips, two candy and a bottled drink.

My digital key on my iPhone worked great. It was easy to add to my apple wallet and unlocked the door every time.

We weren't here long, but it was a totally comfortable hotel minutes from the rental cars and airport.

I'm not sure why I thought hyatt place albequerque would improve but this is the third time we've had a bad experience. The first time there was no breakfast and the ac was out in the halls, the second time we got a dirty room, then that same visit the room had burns in the sheets, an old sofa, they don't bring the blankets or towels to the room so we have to go down and bad breakfast. This time mobile check in doesn't work here so I had to dig out my id and card with my two littles to check in even though I already did on my phone, the sofa bed looks like someone died, there's no blankets for the sofa bed. And there's a dog barking across the hall! All three times the people working do not represent hyatt well. I've stayed at many Hyatt's and this one may as well be a motel 6.
My husband asked for a refund so we can go elsewhere and they refused and wouldn't switch rooms.

Oh and there's no blanket in the closet for the pull out sofa and I was told I have to come downstairs to get one. What hotel makes their guests get their own stuff that should have been in the room to begin with? Oh and pee on the toilet, stains on the shower curtain and room curtains

I was spending part of my vacation in Albuquerque and wanted to stay somewhere decent and not to far into town. I spent a lot of time researching good places to stay with nice amenities that didn't cost an excessive amount of money. When I saw Hyatt Place come up on my screen, I thought, heck yeah, book it now. Let me tell you, I am glad that I did. The prices here are competitive and fair (well under $100 a night) and they had everything I wanted and needed for my stay.

Flying in, I took an uber to the hotel and was happy to see that I was in a nice clean area. There's a cluster of hotels here, so that's a good sign. I checked in and the lobby area was clean, well maintained and had a lot of seating for people to wait or just stand around in.

I got the king sized room and was thrilled with the size and amenities of it. There is a huge sectional couch that is also a pull out bed. Seperate desk and bar area with a refrigerator, sink and coffee maker. The bathroom was 2 parts. A sink with plenty of counter space in a little dressing area with a closet for storage, coats and luggage, and then a nice shower and toilet area with a door. I was able to throw my luggage in the closet so I had room to move around, and enough counter space to put my bathroom items and extra clothing that I needed.

The actual bathroom was fabulous. Modern tile in the shower area with plenty of towels, shampoo and soap galore. The bedroom area was nice with black out shades for dark sleeping at night, or naps during the day without the sun blasting in your face. Plus, with the view from the room, you can see Albuquerque as a whole.

The lobby area and staff really made the stay all the better. There was someone at the desk all the time, even at night. Staff was professional, helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. My check in and check out was quick and easy. They do require a credit card for a deposit when staying, but any charges get reversed a few days after check out.

In the lobby, they normally would have a continental breakfast area, but with the whole pandemic going on, they are going a grab and go breakfast. You fill out a slip the night before and they bag it up for you in the morning. You also get to choose a pickup time for when you would like it to be ready. Things like juice, yogurt, even bagels! They also have a snack area with small ticket items for sale like pop, water bottles, chips and other items as well. You can pay cash or bill it to your room and pay when you check out.

Also, they have a great selection of hot coffee and teas in the morning, that is stronger then the stuff they provide in the room. I think they shut that down at 10 AM, but the coffee doesn't go all day. It was a nice additive instead of hitting my room coffee to hard. Plus, if I wanted a cup to go on the way out, that was awesome as well. They use Tazo tea here, and have like 8 different flavors to choose from. I tried a couple and it was tasty!

Parking here is easy and fabulous. Plenty of spaces in the front and back, along with a shuttle that does local drop offs and pickups. When I had to go pick up my rental car, the guest services man was nice enough to drive me the 2 miles to the airport rental place so I didn't have to wait for an uber. I don't think the shuttle goes terribly far, but they will take you locally.

They also have a pool here, but it was closed due to the pandemic going on. The hotel is taking safety precautions with hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel and require masks for any common areas you are in. They will also swap out any towels you may need at the desk, including soaps and coffee as well. I really enjoyed my stay here, and this Hyatt exceded my expectations on many levels. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, staff is professional and everything was on point. I would gladly stay here again in a heartbeat!
