It took two years for my divorce. That's right two years because he wasn't filing right, nor calling me back! He will go months without calling back. I wish somebody would've told me how unprofessional he really was. Please do what I should have done and run.

absolute lazy attorney. he lies. makes things sound good. then ignores you for weeks at a time. then he will lure you back in. and ignore you again. if you want the job done right. hire someone else. .

In February of this year, I had to hire an attorney to handle my divorce. I did a search for the best divorce attorney in Jackson, Mi. and Mr. Hurst's name came up at the top of the list. At first I thought he was going to be a good fit for my needs and my personality, but after the first couple consultations I soon discovered how wrong I was. If you are looking for an attorney that will treat you with respect and dignity in one of the worst times of your life, keep looking. He became very fond of yelling "just shut up and listen" to me, being extremely disrespectful bordering on verbally abusive. $5,000.00 + later I wish I had dropped down the list a little bit. If one of his reviews had said he was so disrespectful, I would have chosen a different attorney.

Not sure about this attorney. Most of the reviews i have seen on him was outstanding. With lawyers, you see what other recommend. No one recommended him that I called.
