EXPERIENCE
A great supermarket located south of the Italian Market. It's located within a Vietnamese-centered plaza surrounded by various restaurants and stores. The market offers a wide array of goods, from tableware, frozen goods, fresh produce, and snacks. It's a great place to stack up on Asian ingredients and staples at an affordable price.
SERVICE
Staff were kind and friendly.
PARKING
Parking can be difficult to find as spots are shared with neighboring restaurants and vendors.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hannah T.South Burlington, VT04Mar 26, 2024

My friend and I stopped by before heading out of Philly to pick up snacks and dry goods. They have a parking lot available but there's often a line of cars waiting to get in. I recommend just turning the corner and finding street parking.
Once inside there's fresh produce, and boxes of Asian goodness staring back at you. Asian grocery stores can be overwhelming if you don't know what you're looking for and this is no different. They have an awesome fresh seafood and butcher available along with all your standard produce. I give this spot three stars mainly because of the brand selection which was lacking compared to other Asian grocery stores I've been to. Definitely a good spot to check out but you may not find everything.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alex L.Edison, NJ135360844Mar 21, 2022
Great Vietnamese Supermarket. Has a good variety of noodles, fruits and Asian desserts / snacks. You will find most Asian ingredients & sauces here.
Veggies & Fruits are okay. Prices are good but double check them thoroughly as some might be passed expiration. Good selection of Asian cooking equipment & plates / chopsticks, etc. A whole section to pick out stuff.
As others mentioned, Parking is a pain as the mall is cramped with so many stores & restaurants. At times, I would have to drive down a few blocks to park. But its still worth the visit for this slight hassle.
It's a good supermarket. Don't expect a fancy Hmart or Whole Foods experience. It's a simple Asian grocery store to refill your instant noodle collection. Enjoy.
Tip : Bring your own shopping bag(s) as Philly has the plastic bag ban in effect.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Ron C.Philadelphia, PA01338Jun 26, 2023
I love this supermarket for the variety of different greens they have - many different types of yu choy and bok choy (who knew there were so many different varieties of yu choy and bok choy!), Chinese broccoli, spinach, mustard greens, probably 25 different greens. Cilantro, leeks, scallions are a bargain. Tofu is good and well priced. Also good fruit including lots of things I don't recognize (and the names are in Chinese) but the sweet tangerines are the best. I also appreciate the great range of Asian spices and sauces. It has a live fish & shelfish market and pretty extensive butcher offerings, though I've not tried anything from there. I do occasionally get frozen shelfish. Prices are better than the other large Asian supermarket down at 6th & Washington, though the other one is larger and broader selection particularly in frozen seafood, but I like this better..

I'm from California. I went here because I needed ingredients to make hu tiếu, and they have it all. Pork neck bones ($1.50/lb), pork loin, fresh jumbo shrimp ($8/lb), hu tiêu and egg noodles, canned soup, dried onions, dried shrimp, daikon, cilantro, Chinese celery, scallions. They also had fresh live crabs, razor clams, live frogs, etc. Prices were very reasonable. Only complaint was while this place is supposedly Vietnamese, when I called them, they didn't speak it, and transferred me to two different people before one gentleman said they had neck bones. Parking lot in the plaza is a pain though.

Parking parking parking is always a problem in this shopping center, especially on weekends and holidays. If you re lucky enough, you will find a parking here.
This market has mostly everything you need, and the price is affordable.
This place does not take any cashes under $10. If you pay by card, make sure your items adding up more than $10.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Apr 7, 2019Previous reviewThis supermarket has mostly every Asian food you need and the price is reasonable. Parking lot is crazy there, it's really difficult to find a parking lot around the area.

I come here when I need a specific ingredient for a recipe I'm making. I definitely don't come here for the fresh produce, because it's usually not fresh. The meats are also not the best, but they do have a butcher area with a large selection if you're looking for something specific. They also have area on the side with roast duck/chicken/pork. I've tried it once and will not be going back.
This is a large super market that stock lots of hard to find ingredients and thats their strongest appeal. There's also a private parking lot which is a plus compared to Chinatown markets.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer K.Jamison, PA146129686Aug 19, 2022
