Hudson United Glass and Window Corp

This was the FIFTH glass and window place that we went to for replacing the glass on our bathroom windows. ALL of the other places told us we would need to wait for 10 days to get the glass. Hudson United Glass did the job in less than 24 hours! AND at 1/2 the price quoted to us by their competitor in Bergenfield (C&L glass).
I can't say enough good things about Hudson United Glass. I also can't say enough BAD things about their ripoff competitors! Hudson United Glass is the ONLY place to go!

I have used these people in the past and have never had an issue with them until my very last call with them. I asked them for a quick quote to replace a single pane glass (12"x12") in a door and they said it would be a minimum of over $200. I'm never using them again. This is literally a 30 min job which shouldn't cost that much. Thanks for nothing. I won't be calling again.

They failed to complete the job and ignored my emails, texts and voicemail messages for over 2 months. I finally gave up, an still have some of the building materials that were going to be used lying around my home. We live in an apartment and do not have that much room. Soon I will have no choice but to throw out these materials which I have already paid for.

I can't warn anyone ENOUGH to stay away! Find absolutely anyone else to handle your window/door repairs. For the past THREE MONTHS, my landlord has attempted to schedule a time for this company to come repair a balcony door in my unit and every single time they're a no-show. When called to inquire about when I could expect them to show up (given that I had TAKEN THE DAY OFF from work) we were consistently told "just 20 more minutes!" Only to have them never show up. It's outrageous that a company that is so poorly run is still in business.

I called yesterday afternoon to set up an appointment to have them come measure my table and give me a quote for a custom glass table topper. They arrived at the earlier half of the window, gave me a quick quote, created the pattern, and DELIVERED and installed my glass topper 5 hours later!!! I realize that this might have been due to a fluke in their scheduling because I called on a day with little else planned, but I was FLOORED! The table topper is perfect and I am short listing them for all future glass needs forever.

I seriously don't understand the bad reviews on this place. I can't say how amazing the service is here. The guys came and took my cracked dining toom table top and brought me a beautiful replacement just hours later. This was just weeks before Christmas. The price was also less than places closer to my house.I have already recommended them to several people.

Amazing work , im amazed at how fast these guys got my glass windows and door fixed . I cant even begin to imagine where i would be without these guys , saved me a bunch of trouble . Thanks !

I had them repair a window beginning of august which i paid for. Realized it was not repaired correctly and they needed to order a different part. Fine, i also had another window i needed repaired as well so i was going to take care of that one along with the one they did not fix correctly. I told them i needed the repairs done asap. They told me it would take a couple of weeks to get the parts which i reluctantly okd. Of course they told me they'd let me know as soon as they get the part. A few weeks go by and nothing from them. I call them and they said they still haven't received it. I told them to cancel it. 2 months later they call me and tell me the parts are coming soon. I tell him i dont want it done anymore because its too late now. He has the nerve to tell me i have to pay for the parts he ordered. What a joke. These people are crooks. I should have read the reviews.

The worst of the worst. I had a broken window and needed it fixed and did not price check first. Big mistake...they were 40%higher than anyone else. They repaired window. When I later tried to open the window it would not close. A person from Hackensack showed up and had to use a large suction device to get it closed. When asked he said I should not open again ???? I waited until after the winter to get in touch with them to repair the frame that they had not properly installed. They have lied three times in saying they would send someone and no one showed. I believe that my only recourse is to have another firm fix it and then file a small claims action.
