Lunch buffet has tons of choices and tastes great. This is coming from someone very critical of Chinese food who came to the lunch buffet during the end of the buffet time.
Highlights include the egg rolls and general chickenHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - dc l.San Jose, CA1563Jul 24, 2022
We ordered take out dinner from here last night. Wow we have not tasted Chinese food this bad in a very long time. We are ok with Americanized Chinese food, but the dishes we had here didn't even taste like that. Everything is blend and off in color and texture. Also, the cashier was very impatient with us when we requested utensils.
I wonder how they can stay in business.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Denise P.Lakeport, CA071Jan 15, 2023
I'm VERY disappointed in this restaurant. I chose items off the online menu. Lunch specials were 7.50. I get there and lunch specials are now 11.50. To order general chicken it's extra even tho it's the same on the regular menu. Crab wontons are 7.95 instead of 4.95. I understand inflation but PLEASE! I should have walked away but I figured since I was there...I get the food and I noticed the styrofoam boxes are significantly smaller. The last couple places I've eaten I've seen extra surcharges for "service fee" (park place, 20%) and a Mexican place in Santa Rosa who tacked on money to each dish on the receipt. I've seen online people reporting "employee health fees" and such. It's ridiculous! Just give me the portion size and price of the dish so I can choose to pay that price. So this place? Two thumbs down. Plus the food was terrible. Cold, greasy and the meat was fatty. The general chicken I paid extra for was totally bland. I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be spicy. And you used to get two main portions making up almost 50% of the order and the other filler of rice or chow mein. Now it's a tiny portion of one main and the rest filler in a much smaller container. Keep your eyes peeled!
I tried to call them and they take no responsibility for any online menu information. She told me EVERYONE loves their food. Well, according to the reviews, they are barely passing the 50% marker. Im going to say it's only that high because there's very little competition in Lakeport. She was as rude as they come and it seems to be a theme. They also had nothing to say about the small to go containers. Another restaurant with what I wish I could give a zero rating. Happy Garden in Clearlake Oaks is still the go to!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah C.Kelseyville, CA19326Apr 21, 2022
Food is decent for lake county area. I wish they would bring the buffet back. At least you can dine in to eat, but also disappointing that the soup does not come with lunch anymore. Service is friendly.

while visiting lakeport on honey moon we are here as a sentimental memory. food is good honey walnut prawns &bbq pork yum. At that time I had 3 stars
9 years later. We are here again. Unswayed by the most recent nasty reviews. Seem to be busy even tho it is COVID time and only doing take out. We took the good to go and the food we give it 5 stars. Cleaniness of the restaurant is a 1 (dead fish in tank and dirty side table since it is COVID19 standardHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Doreen M.Lakeport, CA362347May 31, 2020
I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently right on. The pot stickers are hands down the best I've had any where! I love the staff, as well.

Inconsistent.
I wanted to enjoy this place, and I did the first time I ate there. But the past times just haven't been as good.
Buffet was below average and the meat selection was almost non existent or they at least didn't keep things filled up. I got my money's worth for sure but it was below par quality wiseHelpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mellissa W.Berkeley, CA3772645Apr 21, 2019
Came to Lakeport for a visit and my honey (he's a picky eater) loves this place. Quiet, clean, beyond friendly, and damn this lamb is so tender and good! Totally recommend if you're in the area.

Great experience. The Hot and Sour soup is the best. Very prompt service. Always considered. I give this place credit for staying open during the height of the pandemic.

I just had the most amazing food from Hong Kong. These pictures were taken after walking several blocks so I am sure that the Pork Fu Yung was not lop sided originally. Hot, fresh, and the veggies were just right. So good.
