Holiday Inn Express & Suites Omaha I - 80

I was visiting friends and family in Gretna NE so stayed here a week in July.

Great service. Friendly staff. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and helpful.

My room was clean and quiet. It was hot and humid in Gretna that week so was relieved to be able to retreat to a cool room and clean sheets.

The breakfast had an assortment of items such as eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes, hot and cold cereal, fruit, yogurt and of course - juice, tea and coffee.

There is a Walmart next door so I dashed in for bottled water and soft drinks and snacks. The room had a refrigerator and microwave so I was able to stock up on a few things to keep on hand.

I liked the electronic charging hubs in my room. Additionally, because it was so hot, I did a few loads of laundry onsite . I was relieved they had a laundry area because I packed light and underestimated the heat!!

I will definitely stay here again. The location was close to major roads, easy to get in and out off, and close to hiking trails. Yet even with all the resources close, my room was quiet and I was able to rest, relax or decompress when needed.

Traveling for work they set me up at this hotel.
I was welcomed and they checked me in with no problems. I made my way to my room and was very relieved to see that the room was well cared for.
Everything looked clean.
The window overlooked the neighborhood Wal-Mart's parking lot. It was within walking distance.
I checked out the bathroom and bed right away and then got comfy on the king sized bed with 4 pillows.
Might have tested the bed out a little by jumping on it like a kid.... Maybe. ;)
It even had a mini fridge and micro for me. I don't remember the last time I stayed in one with that.
The next morning I headed down for their complimentary breakfast. This is a hot commodity. Hot breakfast was all set up and ready to go. Scrambled eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy and so much more. All kinds of drinks, coffee, tea and more.
The thing that caught my eye was the pancake machine! What?? How awesome.
I guess I don't stay at hotels enough.


Great location right off the interstate and really happy with the entire experience.

Highly recommended this location. Staff is friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Free breakfast was outstanding. Best I've had other than in the executive floor level. Wine and beer is served in the evenings. I didn't partake but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

We've stayed here quite a few times in our travels. Randy at the front desk was very helpful. The decorating for Christmas was a very welcoming touch in light of all the nonsense surrounding the world in 2020. Thank you to everyone that works here.

Wonderful location, spacious room and very friendly service! The included breakfast had a great selection and our family enjoyed the stay here. It has a nice pool but sadly we had no time to use it. Only disadvantage I might see if you are a light sleeper the sounds carry easy. I could hear kids running in the room above us.
All around I recommend this Holiday Inn Express!!!

The staff did a good job with our late check-in. I believe we were upgraded to a larger room. I'm not sure if the property is being updated but some areas look more modern than others. The blinds don't fully close and if you like to sleep in this might be a problem. There is a Wal-Mart nearby. I would stay here again.

VERY Clean, nice staff, totally reasonable price, super convenient! Stayed here twice in one week once on my way to Minnesota and again on the way back home to Colorado. Overall hassle free great experience. Will stay there again on my next trip through Nebraska - somewhere in the middle of America! Thank You.

Stayed here one night and was very pleased with everything. The staff was friendly, the lobby and hallways were clean, and they offered free pancakes after 8PM (late night pancakes for the win). The room was clean and comfortable as well. I found 2 stray hairs on the floor which to me seems like they must have missed sweeping, but everything else was great.

The front desk was extraordinary in taking care of us despite being almost fully booked with people coming in behind late in the night. Room was very clean and hotel has been recently renovated. The breakfast had everything you need and then some. The young lady taking care of the breakfast area worked diligently at keeping everything stocked and the tables clean. She was amazing. My son enjoyed the pool. I loved this hotel.

Is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. Friendly staff and great breakfast easy access to the highway. I would recommend stay here.
