We stayed here while road tripping down to the Gulf of Mexico in March 2023.
Location - Decent location right off of the main highway. There is a Walmart, grocery store, and Dollar Tree close by and various fast food places to grab a bite to eat.
Rooms & Building - The room we were in was a suite so there was a bedroom and living area with an additional bed for the kids to sleep in. We appreciate the suite styled rooms to give us more space to spread out. Rooms also come with a kitchenette. The building was clean, the parking was plentiful, and the building was in great shape.
Amenities - There is a basic pool available for use. We swam in it and it was moderately warm. I hate cold pools and will not swim in them but I was able to handle this one.
Food - The complimentary breakfast was a classic mid-level offering with an egg option, meat option, waffles, pastries, oatmeal, juice, coffee, yogurt, and fruit.
Staff - Everyone we met was professional and friendly. We rode out a tornado while staying the night and staff were calm and composed the whole time. Special shout out to the staff on that!
Price & Final Verdict - Price was great for everything we experienced while staying here. I would stay here again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy R.Atoka, TN73467May 4, 2024
FIX THE HOT WATER. they should have told us at check in that 1/2 the building didn't have hot water and it was a known issue... yet no one said a word. That was the last straw in my opinion. We walked in the door and the toilet almost overflowed within the first 5 min of being in the room. The iron had a short in it and we had to get a new one at the front desk. The first two issues I could overlook, but not the hot water. Now I have to drive home in order to get a shower. That is beyond ridiculous.

Fulton Ms is 18 miles south of Tupelo Ms. On our first leg back to St. Louis this was our overnight stop from Naples Fl. This leaves only about 5 hours to St. Louis.
The Holiday Inn was clean, neat, and friendly.
Even though this trip was taken in July Fulton was still under CV19 lockdown. Very hard to get a meal unless it was a drive through. We found the only open place was a Mexican and it was nice to sit down and have table service after the long drive.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Ken G.Jacksonville, AL1769591627Dec 23, 2019
Overall a very nice property and good stay experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to interstate, several restaurants, grocery stores and Walmart. Free breakfast had a good many choices including hot made to order pancakes (machine), which were surprisingly good. Room was pretty clean and bed was clean and comfortable. There were only 2 things I didn't like. The amenities (shower gel, shampoo & conditioner) were refillable bottles on the shower wall. (See pic) It's kind of like a buffet, you never know who's touched it and with what!? Someone could tamper with them and put something in the bottles......well, you get the idea. And the 2nd was the area around the AC/Heat was very dirty and had not been vacuumed for some time. (See pic)

What a great surprise this place was. I am normally a Marriott guy. But this was a family trip Us, kids and grandkids. My son in law and daughter suggested we try the Holiday Inn Express and I reluctantly said OK. Old dogs can learn new tricks. They have revamped Holiday Inn Express Hotels! This was very nice and clean and updated... even luxurious for a economical hotel. I was very impressed with the room. The front desk lady could use a course in courtesy and kindness but other then that, great. The Monday shift was much better. The breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfast meals I have ever had. I would stay here again in a minute! The have a big indoor pool too.

This Holiday Inn Express was conveniently located just 18 miles from Tupelo, Mississippi, offered many amenities including free WiFi, a fitness room, a pool, a complimentary coffee station, etc, yet it was very reasonably priced. The hotel was extremely nice & the staff most hospitable. The room was large, very clean, & in a quiet area. The beds were quite comfortable so after a long day of travel, my husband & I welcomed a good night's sleep. Before leaving, we enjoyed a warm complimentary breakfast--biscuits, gravy, sausage, cinnamon rolls, cereal, etc. I don't know the attendant's name who was working in the dining room but she was so kind & helpful. When checking out, I was pleasantly greeted by Slanda & Lindsay who gave me a bottle of cold water for my journey on. Hats off to this super hotel management & staff!

People at front desk never answer the phone. Today 10/25/2018 I figured out why. Both people from front desk were outside SMOKING !!!!! Not once but twice between the hours of 7 and 1 pm. A woman and Man.
Rooms clean lady that checked me in the night before nice. But don't try to call and talk to anyone. Make reservation online or go by in person. If no one at front desk. Go out back they will be SMOKING OUTSIDE.
My family has. We. In business over 60 years. These people are grown Adults. One at a time could take a break. Leave one to answer phone and wait on customers. If they are suppose to roll phone over to there cell phones to answer they don't know how to do that. Because not one is answering phone. On 10/24/2018 and 10/25 I tried to call this place over 6 times. Never Answered the PhoneHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shane F.Bentonville, AR698Dec 21, 2017
Walked in, stood at the counter as the only patron for 10 minutes without seeing even a single employee. I Go to check in, nowhere does it say the hotel is NOT pet friendly. To add to the incompetence, the lady is dumb enough to ask me "do you still want the room" after just telling me they are not pet friendly! And these people are on the road driving, people!
