Stayed here one night because I had an interview in Miami early in the morning and didn't really want to drive 3 1/2 hours at the crack of dawn to get there in time.

About the only thing this hotel has going for it is that the price point is really something you'd expect at more of a park-your-car-in-front-of-your-room motel kind of joint. Given that the building is a large 6-story edifice with a spacious lobby, at first it's somewhat surprising (though the "granite" all over the lobby and elevators is obviously faux).

Continue on, though, and you see that the price-tag is pretty reflective of the establishment. Weird clanking noise in the elevator. Apparently smoking is allowed in 5th floor rooms, so that hallway smells like second-hand. Televisions are still old CRTs. There was no remote in my room, so the front desk clerk gave me one from a stack to try. No luck. Whatever, I brought a book anyway. The light switches were odd, old, and reminded me of switches I saw in Iraq in 2007. Pillows are tiny (though you do get 4 of them on a queen bed). Chairs in the room had some staining on the fabric and there was rust on some fixtures in the bathroom. Ironing board in the room, but no iron in mine...

Editing because I just got breakfast. Really, this could only properly be called a "continental" breakfast on a different planet, one which has much smaller continents than we do here on Earth. The offering here included: a basket of small, pale oranges, individually-wrapped muffins, one type of cereal (cornflakes), and a couple of loaves of white bread. That's it.

Overall, it works if you just need a place to sleep, shower, and change. It almost looks like the place used to be a bit prouder, but has been allowed to age with no attempt to keep it relevant. Prepare to be underwhelmed. If you've got the extra 20 or 30 bucks lying around, maybe try the Best Western a half mile away.

DO NOT...I repeat, do NOT stay at this hotel. I actually booked this place by accident thinking it was closer south. Biggest mistake in hotel choosing I have ever stayed. Service was mediocre, no fridge, no mircowave. Not much of anything hear.

I guess this is the kind of hotel that you stay when just driving through to stay overnight. Not a recommend at all!

I don't really expect much from a hotel because most of the time, I'm only looking for a place to sleep. Yea this place is really far from anything touristy or fun, which is a big bust, but considering I got this place for ~$50, it was alright.

Wifi was free, everything was clean in the room, had free breakfast.

Don't expect much from their complimentary breakfast though because it's just cereal, horrible coffee, orange juice, and pre-packaged pastries.

Check-in is at 3pm no early check - ins available. lame.

My friend made reservations at another hotel, but we were redirected here, their "sister" hotel, since the original hotel was all booked up. The rooms were alright. No luggage stand or rack to place my luggage on (a first since all hotels I've been to at least had that). The bathroom and shower stall looked a bit dated. I plugged my phone charger into the wall and paint chips came off the wall despite barely touching the wall. The breakfast consisted of pre-wrapped fruits and mediocre bagels. You're better off just driving off to a nearby Chick-Fil-A for breakfast.. The only saving grace for this hotel is that it's located just off a freeway ramp. But even then it's so easy to miss the entrance to this hotel when driving at hotel because it's barely lit up.

My hubby and I went there for a two day romantic get away and well all I can say it was SO SO. Not fantastic just so so. In the room there is no mini fridge no microwave not enough towels for a king suite. The view was alright. There was nothing good on cable I mean what happened to the premium channels? The people at the front desk was nice specially Alex he really helped us out during our two day stay. There restaurant never opened. My hubby went down to smoke and go stuck in the two sided elevator twice for 30 min each. I only enjoyed the stay so so because my hubby was there and we cuddled and watch non cable shows and etc during our stay. I wouldn't stay there unless of an emergency.

This place is pretty dam bad. I can't say the worst, but probably the 2nd worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

THE GOOD: It was cheap. My girlfriend and I pay a total of about 73 dollars all silly taxes and fees include for a room with 2 beds. The place was clean.

THE BAD: The décor is outdated. It appears that the last time they have remodeled the place may have been in the 80's. The lighting is dim and the overall fell is dark and gloomy. The front desk NEVER answers the phone. The front desk attendant is horrible. He was slow, unfriendly and unhelpful. He acted as if he was doing you a favor. There is only WIFI in the lobby. So there was a bunch of people in the lobby on their phones, tablets and computers making lots of noise. The hotel is also in a very bad neighborhood, so don't walk outside without your gun. Worst of all, the bed was extremity uncomfortable. I woke up in extreme back pain that took several hours to go away.

There are better hotels for the same price or slightly higher. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

WORST HOTEL. I have stayed at super cheap hostels around Europe and they were better than this place. The TV was ancient and had lines going all over it, it is centrally located in the ghetto, the "free wifi" is only on the first two floors, the automatic door takes 30 seconds to open, on 7 floors only 2 ice machines/vending machines work, the elevator stops on the 3rd floor every time you are going down, the front desk NEVER answers the phone, the gym has 3 pieces of equipment and i tried them all and none of them worked (no joke), the breakfast is plain bagels and two bowls of cereal. The best part of the hotel were the maids. They did a great job. You will regret staying at this hotel no matter how much money you might be saving. Hope this is helpful.

My bf and I stayed for 5 nights and went to south beach miami everyday. we didn't expect much since there are so many negative reviews but we just needed a place to stay for cheap and close enough to attractions. I feel like people who put bad reviews should've just paid more for a better hotel. you get what you pay for. it is a good place to sleep. our room was cleaned daily, no microwave and fridge, and a box tv with eight channels (we were there for vacation so no channesl was not a problem) The only downside is that the pool is green filled with leaves and stray cats around. Make sure you have a car to get to places. the area isn't safe. Also don't bother calling the hotel, they usually don't answer. other than that, it is a good place to stay for cheap. we will def do this again and we recommend this place for people who are looking for a place to sleep.
