Drove across town just to go to this cleaner.
I was first recommended this cleaner by a neighbor and have now used them 5-6 times. They have always been reliable and done great work!
I've had them alter dresses, dry clean tops, dresses and jackets. They also helped me apply badges onto my child's martial arts uniforms.
The service is friendly, both from the owners and their son. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a cleaner who can do good work in a variety of services in a reasonable amount of time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steven R.Newark, CA01Jun 1, 2022
The service here is very friendly. I dropped off some suits to get them cleaned and the turn around was quick. I spoke to a lady there and she told me that everything was done in house. I will definitely be coming back.

Wow reading through some of these other reviews is really surprising. I've been coming here for 5 years for all my jackets, suits, coats, sleeping bags, everything that needs dry-cleaning. Everything turns around in about a week, prices are reasonable for the Bay Area, the couple that runs the store is super nice, everything gets cleaned right there. Also can get some boba down the row right after, what's not to like?

I just had the worst experience with this place. I spent $75.00 for three coats. One of the coats had an ink stain that they were not able to take out. Instead of them disclosing that information, I had to ask them about it. I'm extremely disappointed. I would not have minded to pay $75.00 if they were able to take out the ink stain.
I know dry cleaners are able to take out ink stains. Obviously, they are not one of them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ryan H.San Francisco, CA609Nov 8, 2019
This place is great. I've been using them for the last few years and they're always reliable and moderately priced. They can rush things too at no extra charge since most of it is done in-house vs. having to send it away.

That was also my first and last time there. They ruined buttons on my cashmere sweater and didn't even say anything until I noticed. Then there was a small stain on a silk part of my other sweater that they were supposed to remove and it got even worse. No English skills and terrible customer service. Never again!

I'm surprised at Jeff's enthusiasm over Holiday Cleaners.
It is an unremarkably average dry cleaner like any other. I think that dry cleaning in general is a horrific, toxic process wrote with environmental implications but I was in a hurry and this place is down the street from me.
Dry cleaning is cheap, fast and easy by definition. Holiday is no exception to the rule. But I'll tell you this... going here is no magical experience. What they lack in people skills is compounded by the excitement of claustrophobia and the sight of workers eating around the racks of clothing. I mean food stains are what get shirts there in the first place, right?
On top of that I had a severely dirty/stained shirt... I didn't realize how bad it was. The woman up front pointed to it and said "too dirty. can't clean."
I said, "oh I didn't know."
Then paid and left... It then occurred to me that I paid for a now clean but still stained shirt. Which is fine... But as a customer I would have loved someone saying, "hey this is too dirty... it still looks bad so we didn't charge ya."
But hey it was only $2.
Although it would have warranted a friendlier review. LAAAAAAMMMEE.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2015
Great dry cleaning service in the Millbrae/Burlingame neighborhood. They're really nice, quick, and clean. They do everything in house, compared to some others that send your items to wash somewhere else. (A tip a friend gave me). Overall if you're looking for a reliable place, give it a try. I'm glad I did.

My first and last time going to this place. I bought in a wool navy jacket with white stripes for dry cleaning. When I got it back, the blue from the jacket bled into the white (pics later). I told them this was unacceptable and they should fix it. They said; they didn't know how to. "you don't know how to fix it?" Your a dry cleaner business...it's what you do! If you were any good, this should be an easy fix for you..." They refused to be of furthur assistance...
Terrible customer service, they lack simple english speaking skills and they will ruin your clothes...
I will "NEVER" return to this place. Your better off cleaning it yourself...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
