We had a very nice stay. It was for one night. This is our first stop stopping through Ocala. The parking was very easy and free. The lobby was very nice. From the lobby to elevator to rooms, everything was very clean. It is not the most updated or modern hotel but you can definitely see the upgrades they made throughout the years.
We had a two queen bed and the room actually looks/feels like it was cleaned thoroughly. The hotel room comes with a disposable shower car, soap bar, and lotion. They do have lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in large containers hanging off the walls in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice and cool.
The staff were very friendly and nice. We did not need to interact with them very much because we checked in after 9pm and checked out before 7am. They did greet us when we walked through the lobby and as we were checking out. I would stop here again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oats H.Houston, TX02911May 5, 2024
What a sad hotel. It is loud, unclean, not updated. The elevators take forever, tne WiFi is not free, the in room a/c is super loud. We paid $258 and that did not include breakfast. .Creepy entrance, and reception is on the second floor. Parking is 1/2 block away. It is homely. If I were Hilton,I would not let this hotel represent my brand. The front desk girls were lovely -- the only highlight in an otherwise dismal stay.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Hubby and I LOVED this Hilton Hotel!
The room was very spacious & the bed was very very comfortable. in fact, it was so comfortable that hubby looked up what kind of mattress they use & has proclaimed that we will be purchasing this kind next for our king bed at home. yay!!! LOL
The lobby was very beautiful, spacious & cozy with a nice bar that is open to midnight. The pool was gorgeous & the service was very pleasant. The in room coffee was even fabulous. Loved the fresh fruit water on arrival. Very refreshing.
Hubby always likes to stay at Marriott's but after this stay he now says we are Hilton People. Haha.
Can't wait to return!
Highly recommend :))Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0 - Chris J.Austin, TX113111Sep 18, 2023
The beds are horrible. My wife and I barely slept and woke up with bad back aches. Bed sags so much and you can feel the springs. Hot tub was barely warm. Such a waste of money

SCW and I stayed here for a brief trip to Ocala. We came over to see the new World Equestrian Center and stayed here for one night. The hotel itself looked like it was remodeled fairly recently. The entrance was nice and bright with the lobby, breakfast area, a seating area and the bar off to the right. The whole area looked pretty well laid out with lots of different options for seating.
Check in was pretty quick and friendly. We were off to our room in no time. We stayed on the "executive floor" in the high odd 20's in terms of room numbers. This turned out to be closer to the highway (I-75) then the lower numbered rooms so if you are noise sensitive you might request a lower number. I didn't think the highway noise was too bad with the ac fan running constantly to drown it out.
The room itself was pretty nice. The room had desk with a chair, a more comfy relaxing chair with a poof to put your feet up on. There was a fridge as well which is nice if you bring things along for your trip like we did. The kind bed was comfy, the pillows a little too soft for my liking but not terrible. The bathroom was clean and had good lighting. The room itself had some nuts on the floor from the previous occupant that was missed during cleaning apparently. Not too big of a deal but minus a star for that.
I got a decent nights sleep and the experience was overall pleasant. SCW was however dismayed at the lack of complementary coffee downstairs in the morning. The room comes with a coffee maker but certainly not up to her standards. So we ended up getting coffee elsewhere.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Jeremy S.FL, FL0554May 18, 2023
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst hotel in Florida. My room's AC would not work. No cooling. I asked for it to be fixed. They "changed" the filter and that was it. It's Florida- kinda hot and AC is necessary. They didn't give me a new room with working AC nor a credit after a terrible night stay.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Justin T.Bowling Green, KY679Oct 3, 2023
Nice hotel for the most part but the breakfast experience is absolutely terrible. They used to have good management but something has changed and it's took a turn for the worse. Save yourself some time and do your body a favor, eat somewhere else.

Nice hotel but understaffed and the front desk employees are not nice. Usually they treat HH elite like they appreciate your loaylty. Not here!!
The common areas are pretty and well decorated. Bar area offers drinks and some.food.There is a pool and jacuzzi.
We knew we would be checking in late so called ahead to ask for the best available room. We asked about the breakfast we had included in our rate. She said it was only for adults. I heard her complaining as we hung up.
When we showed up the police were there about an issue with guests and more came. Neither of the officers were weatimg masks and most of the guests weren't either.
The lone employee at the front desk said they didn't have any upgrades and when we pushed called out the manager on duty. After some whispering they said there was only one double queen room left. She forgot to give us the breakfast vouchers we paid extra for.
When we got ro the room we had to laugh. Last room at the end of the hall next to rhe maid's closet and service elevator. Lovely view of the roof, parking lot, and I 75. Really! Glad you value our loyalty. Left a message for the room manager the next day but never got a call back.
The restaurant is not owned by the hotel. We had breakfast which was good and our server, Deion, was very nice and provided wonderful service. The omelet, hashbrowns, and marbeled rye toast were all tasty. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay.
I would recommend staying somewhere else. We paid over $200 per night and felt it was not worth it. If you are going to springs or forest stay at new Hilton Garden Inn in Ocala.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Inge M.Sanford, NC02Aug 10, 2023
Very disappointed Hilton supposed to be one of the better hotels NOT.
Tried to plug in husband's ccap blew the lamp..then tried to make a cup of coffee we had to crawl under the desk to plug it in to find out it didn't work..then to top it of I moved my cosmetic bag and a roach ran out.
We both are in our 80s and we're very tired from a long car ride didn't expect this.
Evening check-in was pleasant day clerk not so much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary L.Central Florida, FL03Jan 21, 2023
Our family has had numerous celebration at the Ocala Hilton,
weddings to Reunion's bridal showers and birthday parties. We also frequent many events there and of course my all-time favorite is the Sunday brunch.
Have family coming from out of state taking family portraits and asked this week if we would be allowed to take some of the pictures around the Hilton and was declined very disappointing now that we have to go to the equestrian center. So very disappointed !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
