I have lived there for two years and just moved out. This is a beautiful green patch where you can enjoy nature and love at peace with wonderful neighbors.
The maintenance workers are top notch. Tony and Chris are the best. I have bothered them so many times with small things and they have always been on top of all my work order, got things done on time, and would even go the extra mile to come in during hours when my baby is not napping. I would give them a "5 star rating".
There is so much space for kids and dogs. We enjoyed walking around the apartment. The office people are available even during weekend and they are the most friendly people.
The best about hidden creek
1. Space ! Space ! Space !
2. Great maintenance crew and office
3. Excellent appliances and lots of shelves
4. Lovely neighbors
5. Creek and trail at walking distance
6. Proximity to major shops . Everything is 5-10 mins driving.
7. Bus stop right at the front gate
8. Quiet , calm, green living
The two reasons I would take off one star is
1. their kids play area is poorly maintained. I moved in here hoping to have a nice kids play area. The one that is there is in a corner, conquered by feral cats. I would rather have a park in the center with enough sunshine and something clean.
2. Their grounds keeping isn't great. In the last few months they definitely took steps to have more pet trash cans around the complex. But there is dog poop all over and my son could never run around and play in the beautiful green patch. So much space but none for little kids.
3. Their pond is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. It definitely could help some cleaning.
But otherwise, our stay as a family has been great. Definitely a good place to live in !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Really think these apartments are worth skipping. They charge too much for too little. Within the first year of living here the valet trash, paid for by residents an extra $25 a month, was non existent. The office when I moved in seems snobby and will hardly respond. Neighbors have no clue how to pick up their dogs crap, also super nosy and bothersome. Smells of weed around a lot of the complex. Nice little gym with access to two pools. The worst part is water being turned off non stop with literally no hour notice. Also tons of cats due to residents consistently feeding them. Pond surprisingly got better but wonder how long till it isn't. Gate also is a hit or miss when working so practically anyone can get in.

If I could give 0 stars o would. I had reached out over the weekend via apartments.com and the main Hidden Creak website which both showed multiple two bedrooms available. I reached out through multiple places because I really wanted to live here and they were taking a while to get back to me. Having managed apartments before I know that it's hard to get all leads so I figured I'd reach out more to get support. The leasing agent was incredibly rude from the first email exchange. Considering I reached out three ways in two weekend days, I figure their initial response via email was the way we'd communicate. On Tuesdays, one business day in, I receive not one but two voicemails of a leasing agent with a very rude voicemail. After we had already exchanged emails to which I included evidence of the listing therefore the companies fault not Mike but they were rude to begin with, I got two rude voicemails claiming as though I don't know what their emails said. I'm rating this low for their lack of detail to their website and marketing, a low rating for the response time despite advertised business hours, a low rating for the amount of reach outs, a low rating for the complete rudeness through more than four exchanges. What a shame. All it took was a little better customer service.

In less than three weeks I have submitted three work orders to have things fixed in the apartment, I moved into the apartment three weeks ago, washer doesn't work properly, dryer has ruined multiple articles of clothing, stains, dishwasher leaks, shower head is clogged, no response for anything, office staff just says they are short staffed and to be patient. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

ZERO STARS!! After my parents submitted an application and put down the $200 holding fees for unit 235 listed in this screenshot, the online application stated the monthly rent amount was $2,100 and not the $1,995 stated here. When calling, whoever the manager was stated the website was wrong and she wouldn't honor the price. This was only the beginning of things. I did a walk through with my dad and the nice lady showed us a unit with only one bathroom but stated the unit he picked would be updated and have two bathrooms of course. Once the financial portion was approved and the background/credit check as well the manager then called to tell my parents that even though they told them the bathroom would be updated, the owners decided not to remodel and they wouldn't decrease the month rent for that issue either. Besides the nice girl who showed us the unit, management has been ridiculously rude, they never answer their phones and barely respond to email. Has been a horrible experience and honestly feel they have made every excuse not to rent to my parent even though they have already qualified. Disgusting behavior!!!

This place is a living whole !
From the units themselves, having wholes that rats can come in & out from. To the terrible maintenance supervisors, this place is the place you're looking for if you want to feel uncomfortable living at home !
This place chargers a VIP trash pick up which is terrible.
The amount of trash that's laid out in front of everyone's unit is insane!
Don't get me started on the actual maintenance people themselves! They all are underneath the dictator Supervisor who goes by the name Jeremy, or Jeremiah.
This man has no care in the world for others but himself and his role in this place. The first interaction with this boy and he gave me the most disgusting stare down ever, to the last interaction with him getting my car towed and shaking while explaining to me why it was towed.
This place is the most unprofessional place to have as a community, from those gals in the front answering calls and being rude to the residents. To the rude maintenance men around.
Save yourself the trouble and get the heck away! Don't even ask about living here. It is the worst!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 1 - Emma C.Vacaville, CA11612Nov 10, 2022Updated review
"Luxury apartments", Pure mediocrity (at best) with a luxury label for an added profit. Water is CONSTANTLY turned off and we're going overnight without water now. No notification was sent out, nothing. This constantly happens, management communication is terrible and I honestly cannot figure out why this place is so terribly run. We've been through 2 managers now and the property managers skimp on contracted services again, for a profit. Dryer vent cleaning was cheap and did a terrible job. Plumbers were cheap and did a terrible job. Invest money into who's fixing your facilities and you may get it done right the first time. I sincerely hope Yelp adds a zero star option so I can edit my review.
Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 1Sep 6, 2022Previous reviewOffice staff finds every excuse to not enforce rules they created and the "luxury apartments" listed does not equal what the apartments here are. Parking is a disaster and there are cars here that have not moved in a YEAR. I've asked management repeatedly when they plan on dealing with the problem and the response I've gotten is "our manager is working on dealing with it" which has not happened. Vacaville code enforcement will not do anything which is extremely frustrating and cars have had wheels stolen as well as catalytic converters. The front gate to this "gated community" does not work and anyone is allowed to enter at any time of day or night. Placing a work order goes ignored so hopefully your handyman skills are up to par and you can do it yourself. The office is closed constantly and water shutoffs are regular (not as often as before but still frequent) it takes a lot for me to write a bad yelp review but this needs to be put out there.

This is the third time in the past week that the water has been shut off with super late notice or no notice at all. We are going overnight without water. This is so unacceptable. Especially for a "luxury apartment" how many times can a plumber "fix" something then two days later have the same issue and have to turn the water off. Where is the communication. No reason we are without water for a whole day and won't receive a notice until the next day. This is getting ridiculous. I have held off for so long leaving a review on this place. I have so many other concerns about this complex that I have not expressed on here YET. When I have 12 hours to spare I'll be able to write a book on the issues that come with living here.

I am exhausted. I have been here for several years and I am watching this place slide into hell.
It isn't enough that our trash pickup is whenever the person decides to like actually work, or that we have roaches. Last summer it was rats and roaches.
Speaking of summer, we have a lovely pond and since last summer the pump broke, no freshwater has been filtered into the pond and it has gone stagnant, putrid and full of algae. Algae can be good, but this shit is turned into poison.
The pond has wildlife in it from turtles to koi fish. But we are down one fish because it died...from the management's neglect.
I am absolutely livid!
I told the office multiple times the fish were going to be dying. I got a lot of blank stares and shrugs. Nobody cared about the fish or the wildlife. This is inhumane and plain cruel. The fish do not deserve a death sentence because the caretakers decided not to care!
Are they just waiting for all the wildlife to die before addressing the problem?
Last time I was told it will be addressed next month. Well, guess what the fish aren't going to make it to next month. The turtle are tough, the bass not so much. The frogs...gone. Tadpoles...dead.
It is a disgusting level of heartlessness.
And to add insult to injury...the owners are going to be breaking ground on a multimillion-dollar set of new apartment buildings on the property.
So wait, they can spend millions on new buildings but not have the cash to keep up pond which is the big calling card for this property?
The priorities are way beyond skewed. They are lacking in morality and human decency!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - Kathryn R.Dixon, CA333Aug 3, 2022
Find elsewhere.
Management/owners, whomever you want to blame, they're all awful.
We didn't trust the bad reviews and our guts when we moved in. We wanted to save a few bucks and we are paying for it now.
PGE is never accurate; there were gaps in all of the weatherproofing throughout the apartment. The cleaning and paint jobs were atrocious. We were promised a screen door but not supplied one to this day, almost halfway through our lease. They said the pond would be fixed but it has not. Most days it's drastically low on water. We were told a dog park would be put in but it has not. You pay a garbage fee on top of the valet fee, which you cannot opt out of. There are exposed wires and electrical boxes all over the property as well as dirty AC units. We had a huge problem with our AC when we first moved in. That has really been the only thing that was properly resolved. When we moved in one of the sprinklers was still covered by painters tape! Some still have painters tape around the sprinkler base. We finally bought caulking of our own to try and seal the windows and lower our PGE; which seems to go up every month, no matter what changes we make. That may be in part due to the meter boxes looking untouched and covered in spider webs; we'll be challenging PGE shortly on that.
The quality of their model unit is decent but the actual units are another story. At least ours was horribly cleaned in that they damaged the stainless steel appliances and left permanent streaking from whatever cleaner they used. We lived in a pretty crappy apartment in Fairfield before this and I never thought I would miss it until now.
Your calls to the office will never be answered. Your emails, don't hold your breath. You may get one response but follow through is nonexistent for them. They do not keep the listed office hours; the ones they told us they would keep are hardly ever honored as well.
I've seen a few people now just break their lease and leave...
I took copious amounts of pictures and notes when we moved in, for our move in check list, and I fully intend to fight to get every piece of our deposit back.
Overall, this place is simply NOT worth the headache and can in no way justify the rent amount they're requiring.
You can find something better! Keep looking :)Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1
