Hey! Whats 4 Dinner?

We recently moved to Texas at the same time I got my cancer diagnosis and my friends and family back home researched and found a way to deliver delicious and healthy meals from a few states away. We've been blessed with many gift cards for this service and have enjoyed everything we've ordered. The gift cards are a great way to provide a meal for us that we choose from the menu on the nights that work best for us. Very generous portions and the whole family loves it!

We've been using this service for a number of years now. The food is always tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Plus they deliver. What's not to love?

AWESOME company. The food is great and the customer service is even better. My order was messed up and they were very responsive and went way out of their way to make amends. I really hope people will give this company a try. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

A friend ordered this for me when I had surgery. They did provide very generous portions. The food tasted good. Not restaurant quality, but not bad by any means. Unfortunately, they did not provide any of the fixings with the tacos that were ordered. (It did not say that they would in the website, but we are just accustomed to receiving the ' fixings' when we order Mexican food.). We were also missing one of the sides (beans). I emailed 'Scott' to let them know and suggested that they could just reimburse the friend that ordered it for me, but they never responded or made it right. Too bad. It's a good idea in theory, but I wouldn't order for a friend because I don't know if they'd get what they ordered, and couldn't trust them to make it right if they made a mistake.

I learned about Hey!Whats4dinner? about a year ago but never got around to trying it out. A friend and I were talking a few weeks ago about how busy life is getting, and that something has to give. I remembered this service and thought we should finally give it a try. My friend tried one of the fresh food meal delivery services that are also becoming popular, so we could compare notes and see which one worked better for our families.

I'm a nurse, so when I'm working I'm gone for all three meals that day. The night before one of my shifts I decided to give them a try so my poor husband didn't have to come up with something to feed our kids. You need to place your order before 9pm if you want to be able to get a meal for the next day. Which seems pretty reasonable to me. Here's the BEST part. As long as you live in their delivery area, your food arrives at your house fully cooked and ready to be served. And we're not talking greasy takeout. We're talking fresh, healthy, home cooked meals that are delicious. My 5 year old asked for THIRDS of their chicken. And she doesn't eat chicken. That's how good it was. The portions are huge. Our first meal came with chicken kabobs, rice and steamed veggies. So, so, so good. As I'm comparing notes with my friend, her meals are delicious as well. With a few big differences....my meals were already cooked, they were delivered to my home, I didn't have to do anything other than put it on plates, and this isn't a subscription that you're committed to. We've ordered three weeks in a row and I can't imagine ever stopping. Ever.

After coming home from the hospital after having a baby this was a lifesaver. My family lives out of town and to help they ordered a weeks worth of dinners for my husband and I. WOW!!! It was amazing!! Delicious, fresh and shocking the size for 2. We had leftovers! Plus they delivered right to our door everyday!!! We now order from them regularly just because it's such a great deal!!! Love it!

I have been saving this review for about three weeks now, hoping YELP would add more stars. I have now enjoyed eight meals prepared by Scott, and I am convinced - this is a MUST TRY if you live in or near Flower Mound.
As a career firefighter and acclaimed "firehouse cook," this is serious business because you have a tough crowd to please and there is no place to hide if it falls short of expectations.
SCOTT is on to something big here and you owe it to yourself to give it a try. He is a very talented chef, consistently providing the meals you would expect to pay $16 - $20 for at your favorite restaurant, and he delivers it to your door for only $11 per plate! And the best part is, without doubt, the meal itself. Always delicious, balanced, nutritious and portions that satisfy a XXL firefighter appetite. I have enjoyed an almond-crusted salmon, kabobs, salmon with a pesto kind of sauce, stuffed chicken breast, and a couple dishes I couldn't put my finger on, but found myself staring in wonder at how delicious it was. I even enjoyed the grits for the first time ever, and the sweet potato purée dish from the "fit" menu was incredible.
I also learned there is a HUGE difference between a competent cook and a skilled chef. Give Hey! What's 4 Dinner a try and you won't ever settle for delivery pizza and fried chicken and save money at the same time. You will also save yourself time shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning. I can't think of a more convenient service.
Next time you start to automatically reply "I don't care" when the spouse asks what you want for dinner, do yourself a favor and give Scott at Hey! What's for Dinner? A call. We have waited long enough for this idea to come to fruition.

Delicious and affordable! Perfect for a busy family or couple. No need to plan, shop, prep, cook or cleanup. Have had 3 meals so far and my entire family has loved every meal. Also the portions are huge so plenty left over the next day for lunch! Already put in order for 5 day delivery next week. Perfectly delivered before all the kids evening activities. No more processed fast food during the week. There are 2 menus: regular dinner and diet (healthy prep and portions) menus. Also the menu changes daily/weekly so it is perfect for those of us that do not want to eat the same thing over and over. Well worth the money.

Scott's creation are always tasty, healthy, and fresh. Love the bulk chicken and the fact that they deliver.

Consistently quality home delivery of huge portions of food. I would like a little more variety, but the quality if great. Have to order about 20 hours in advance or they won't get the order. I would imagine that's just logistics, no complaints here. I wish there was something like this in every town so I could get my parents healthy home cooked meals that actually taste good as they get older.
