Booked online a week in advance, didn't speak to associates as much and had a fairly easy booking process.
The car did smell like smoke upon entry but the car functioned smoothly and was a newer model.

Prepaid for a rental 3 weeks in advance. Pickup was for Thanksgiving eve @ 2pm. I arrive at 140pm for pickup. Store was closed with sign that said closed for Thanksgiving Eve at 12noon. I'm saddened that no one chose to call, email or text me to let me know. It was virtually impossible to find a rental elsewhere on short notice and really upsetting that because of their closing I had to pay twice e as much elsewhere. After calling customer service all they did was offer a refund to be received in 7 days...smh.

I had prepaid and reserved a Pathfinder or similar about 2 weeks in advance of pick up. My pickup time was 12 noon at the Lawrenceville, GA location and I got there at around a little bit after 11am and had to wait about 1 hr because the counter agent said that they are getting the car ready. When they did bring the car out to be delivered to me it was ridiculously dirty on the outside and the under carriage had thick mud caked on that was visible on approaching the car. Because of the dirty condition of the car I requested for it to be cleaned and they took the car to the back and I don't know what they did but the car looked worst and the manager said he can give me $10 off the price which I denied because it was an insult to me. The car had a 1/2 tank of gas and I requested a full tank because of the excessive delays and they said no. I told them that I am eligible for my company's discount and they said that since I prepaid that I could get the discount. A few hrs later while driving on the highway after applying the brakes the car would violently vibrate and I didn't feel comfortable driving the car in that condition out of town for a week so we had to drive an hr away to ATL Airport to the Hertz location to exchange the car because since it was a Saturday all the satellite locations were closed. When we got to the airport, we were told that it would be a while before we can get a vehicle but after an hr we were able to get another vehicle. The service at the Hertz Lawrenceville location was horrible and they need to provide customers with better service. Before I returned my vehicle I had it washed and vacuumed and returned with a full tank of gas and as I waited for me ride home the counter agent inspected the vehicle and within 5 mins someone else rented it and I brought it to the counter agent attention that they didn't have to clean nor gas up the vehicle and yet still you couldn't even give me any discount but the customer who got my vehicle received a vehicle in ready condition so a quicker turn around for Hertz.
I hope Hertz will receive this review and provide better service and invest in a car wash facility and have their cars maintained.

Reserved my full size rental car 2 weeks in advance. Arrived at the Lawrenceville location to pick it up with a smile on my face, despite all the negative reviews. The young Latino lady at the front desk told me that they had no full size rental cars available but I could rent an SUV for $20 more a day. Her excuse was that they didn't anticipate renting so many full size cars and basically couldn't fulfill their reservations. I told her that was Hertz's issue /problem and they should provide their available rental vehicle at the same price rather than upcharge$20 a day. She took no responsibility on hertz's part and told me "sorry, it's $20 more a day". Needless to say, I politely told her to cancel my reservation and went right across the street to Enterprise where Zack the manager knows how to treat customers! Thank God for Enterprise. I was a repeat customer to Hertz rentals but never again!

Horrible horrible customer service. Will scream and yell at you for their own mistakes. Will over charge you after they give you a car that will not work and they have to switch it out. Very disappointing and disrespectful customer service! This is the second time hertz has ruined my day. The first time I placed an advanced order to get a car and I wasn't even able to go because they lied and didn't have any cars available. The most horrid experience I have ever had. People that work there are mad they have to do their own job. Run! Go to enterprise!

First allow me to say a number of the 1 star reviews appear to be issues with the 800 number. I rent from this location a number of times , staff no matter who is always great , one time I got a car with an issue and it was handled asap relaxed with a similiar vechile no questions asked. I would say if you are going to deal with hertz which I do , deal with this office exclusively if possible, I'm lucky as they are so close to me. Just read reviews and see what they are and where they are speaking about.

Great customer service from Chandnee! This location and close to me and conveniently located in a shopping center. With so many different companies and location options, one could rent anywhere, but I will choose this location! Highly recommended, thanks Chandnee for you kind and friendly service with great conversation. Customer service is your thing, keep up the good work! :D

Dangerous & Dont give a shit about renter
DONT RENT FROM HERTZ OR THIS LOCATION
We rented a care for a 3 week trip across country. On 10-5 we woke up to flat tire. We called hertz roadside who had us on phone for 1hr to finally tell us that we had to pay for repairs or Hertz. Hertz tells us we have to drive 1hr on low/leaking tire to Grand Forks, ND. Hertz told us they called Firestone who be fixing tire and get it worked out.
So 1hr later we get to Firestone who never got a call from Hertz. So for 2hrs Hertz did nothing. We're at Firestone and 1hr later Firestone got a hold of Hertz who approved tire repair.
But not good and nothing can be fixed
Firestone said car is over due for oil change. Really we have to wait for Hertz car to be maintained. WOW
But Hertz won't approve oil change
We sat at Firestone for 4hrs listening yo Firestone trying yo get oil change approved and Hertz not approving or not answering phone
We called Hertz Lawrenceville location who can't do shit
We called Hertz roadside many times who said they called or would call Firestone but Firestone still doesn't have approval
We have no car and no hope of ever getting home

Please rent somewhere else. No car available even though reservation was confirmed. Staff wasn't helpful and customer service was even worse. They couldn't guarantee that a car would be available at another location. I wasn't surprised to see this location only had 2.7. They didn't even call to let me know the car wasn't available.
