Excellent customer service! Rented a van, I was in and out in no time. When I picked up the van, it was ready and clean for me. Can't remember the name of the lady who helped me, but she was extra kind, helpful and super fast. Definitely recommend them. Prices very competitive, too

If I could give 0 starts I would....Came in here this morning for my car rental that my insurance supplied me, I spoke to the lady named jayme at the front desk after walking in. She told me the vehicle isn't ready just yet even tho my car insurance sent me here to pickup a vehicle. I sat and waited 20 minutes for them to tell me it's going to be about an hour wait. When I asked why the lady she caught an attitude even tho the pickup for the vehicle was supposed to be at a earlier time (50 mins ago at this point). Shouldn't I be the upset one ? They told me the vehicle wasn't ready yet because they had to "clean the vehicle"

My company booked a long term car rental a couple days ago as supplemental until my company car is available. Apparently they don't have cars available and was not informed until I reached out to them. Their only recommendation was call them back each day at noon or call other locations to see if they have availability.

rented a vehicle from this location through my insurance , after returning there vehicle . with more gas then it originally had at time of rental. needed a ride less then two miles up the road. i was told we don't give rides only to and from
body shop . WORSE HERTZ RENTAL LOCATION EVER. HIGHLAND, INDIANA. I reserved a full-size car online and when I got there they didn't have any full-size cars only SUVs. They tried to make me pay $100 for an upgrade. The guy behind me was returning a full-size car so I asked if I can rent that one. I was told I could, the car just had to be washed. The lady working there made a few phone calls then 5 min later told me that the rental was unavailable because the plates were expired. I said so the plates expired after the man returned it and the lady said yes, with a straight face. I went outside to check the car and she lied to me. Plates expire at the end of the month. 6/2021 the day was 6/8/2021. My girl also went there for a rental and they actually ran her credit. Hertz have good prices but this location is the worst. Hertz at 8820 Indianapolis Blvd, Highland, Indiana.

I dropped off my rental Monday evening and left my wallet in the cars center console accidentally.. didn't realize it till Wednesday night when I needed my wallet so I called them on Thursday to check the car and was told nothing was turned in the person on the phone went to check the car and came back and told me he checked the car again and nothing in it.. I asked if he checked between the seats he told me he checked between and under the seats back seat etc etc so I asked him if he's sure that's the right car? Can you check the system? "Our system is down right now" so I said ok no problem I'll call right before you close to see if you can verify it's the right car.. "our system is down and won't be back up till Monday" yes exactly what he said.. on Thursday at hertz rental car a national car rental place their system is down and won't be back up till Monday... I wasn't in a place where I could do anything about it I'm in town for training and don't have a ride to get to them so I said thank you and hung up, next morning (Friday) I call and ask to speak to a manager and the person on the phone says he's a manager I explain the story and what the person on the phone told me and turns out it's the same guy I talked to last time and get this... "oh you mean the car you dropped off a week and a half ago?" Lmaooooo suddenly Monday evening to Friday is a week and a half ago and mind you I called Thursday as soon as I could
What a joke but it's ok karma exists even if they didn't take the wallet telling me their system is down till Monday on a Thursday? And telling me I dropped the car off a week and a half ago? On Friday? I needed to rent a car because my mother was in hospice and didn't have long to live. We needed to drive out of state to see her. Now I normally rent from Enterprise without any problems. Enterprise on Indianapolis road was booked solid. So I made a online reservation with Hertz since they had cars available. Secured it with my debit card. Called to confirm the reservation. Everything was good. My wife and I arrived, gave the young lady our name. She ask for my drivers license and ran it through the card machine. I asked her if they offer any VFW or Veteran discounts. The young lady ask another lady in the office in the back. She came up, and wrote something and gave it to the young lady. I assumed it was the Veteran Discount. after about a minute or so, the young lady tells me she couldn't rent to me because I was using a debit card and my credit score wasn't high enough. I said WHAT? I ask her why she did she run my credit score without my authorization, and why was everything good to go online till we arrived. Now i'm a retired army Veteran and a member of the VFW, so I been around the block a few times, I can spot profiling when I see it. That being said, I called enterprise 800 number to ask them the next location near us that had cars available, They said Gary. The Enterprise customer service booked the car, I gave him my debit card. He said since i'm using a debit card, they would have to hold 50.00 over the reservation cost. We said no problem. We drove to Gary, they had the car ready and I was able to see my mother.
Hertz was horrible, I will never try and do business with any Hertz because of their profiling. Horrible way to support the veteran and military. If you need to rent a car, go to enterprise not these guys.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tim B.Long Beach, CA781May 17, 2019
I am renting a car for work all of the time. The staff has always been good to me. They have always been helpful. They are never rude. I would recommend this location to anyone. My only issue is that they are not closer to where I live in Lowell.
