We're disappointing to say the least.

We drove from Washington DC and the entire family was extremely disappointed.

You know the old saying, "nothing to see here folks"

Hershey's Chocolate World is right next to Hershey Park. If you're only visiting Hershey's Chocolate world, make sure to follow the signs because the parking is different from Hershey Park.

My family decided to go the next day after we had visited Hershey Park. I'm glad we did. This place is definitely for chocolate lovers. There are different activities to do. We created our own candy bars, and it was such a cool experience. This place is definitely a place to take the family.

I always shop for products that are not available on retail stores. They have giant Hershey chocolate bars, Reese's, Jolly Ranchers. At the back, you can get some food, milk shakes, and freshly made s'mores. I got one and I ate in seconds.

They have the Hershey version of M and M and plant-based Hershey chocolate and Reese's.

Staff was very helpful, a lot of registers so the line moved very fast. Even though it was January, the store was quite crowded.

It's not official until you stop at Hershey's chocolate world on your way in or on your way out of the park in Hershey Pennsylvania. Just so you know the park and Hershey's chocolate world are two separate entities but if you have a hankering for chocolate and interested in taking a tour of the chocolate making process, get in line and hop on board the chocolate express that they have chocolate world and enjoy a trip through all things chocolate, from the beginning Cocoa pods to the milk chocolate goodness.

There is loads to try sample purchase within chocolate world from adult beverages, pretzels, pizza, coffee, muffins, cookies, cakes, chocolate, ice cream, you name it they have it.

Just be prepared for large crowds, but they move you through the lines quick when you get in line to purchase your chocolates, they have it streamlined so that it's a quick and painless transitional once you get in line to pay for your chocolate goodness oh, and additionally, you can make your own chocolate super stuff a Reese's peanut butter cup.

There are several attractions in chocolate world, but it's best to go online to check and see which ones are open and if anything is changed .

I visited here with my friends for a 3-hour stop. The parking was free if you just use the Hershey Chocolate World. As you enter the area, there are nice photo spots where you can take click pictures of the Chocolate World. They have several options to keep the kids and adults involved. I would definitely recommend the trolley tour to understand Hershey history. The next attraction i recommend, which is free and provides more value, will be the Chocolate Factory tour. It gives a good overview of how chocolates are being manufactured and kids will love it. There are movie experiences, make your own candy bar, and candy tasting experiences that are ticketed events. We have done the candy making for kids in the past, and the kids definitely enjoy that. They have a huge store where they sell candies and the big Hershey bar. They do have assorted candies based on size, which is more valuable if you buy two. Overall, it's a great place to visit if you have a couple of hours to 4 hours. The trolley, however, has time restriction, so you may want to plan ahead of time. The staff is very friendly and assisted us.

Super fun spot to go to with family!

We went here on Christmas eve so they closed early at around 4 so we did not have the full day, but we did everything we wanted to do so we didn't mind.

The experiences are pretty fun however they are geared towards kids. But if you are an adult it can still be fun. We started of with the chocolate making then went on the chocolate tour the self guided one (it was a 10 minute train ride, could be longer depending on the crowd). We then got into Hershey Express which a 4D experience to help create a new chocolate, and finally ended with the make your own chocolate (MY FAVORITE).

The food was delicious, the pretzels HUGE, deinks chocolatey! You definitely get your money's worth in chocolate and it was super good value for money.

      Will definitely be back!

Hershey Chocolate World is a smaller experience outside of Hershey Park with a food court, small bar, and a "tour" of the chocolate factory that gives you a fun (and incredibly good smelling) ride through the history of Hershey.

The bar has fun dessert drinks, but the tour is worth doing if you have the time. It's more of a theme park ride than an actual tour, but the cutesy animatronics and theatrics mixed with the history lesson make it a good mix of education and fun.

There's also an extensive gift shop with a fun variety of chocolate and Hershey merch. It's a little bit pricy for the area, however the store allows you to shop without needing theme park admission to the park just outside.

Overall, whether you are going to the park or just passing through, Hershey Chocolate World is a fun stop for both kids and adults.

Okay this place is VERY cool. Really really cool. Don't make the same mistake that I did and only plan a short amount of time, even without paying for the activities, you can spend hours here.

We did the Reese's fill your cup and it was a little overpriced but really cool for the experience. We didn't do any other experiences since we were short on time but they looked awesome.

The shopping. They have so much cool stuff, unique hersheys candies and items. Stuff I've never seen before. I think I blinked and I lost an hour looking at everything. It was hard not to spend a ton of money haha!

They even have a cafe which my friend said made a killer chocolate martini. I'll have to go back just for that.

If you're in the area you have to check it out.
