I scheduled an appointment for 1:00 p.m. on Monday due to my wife's brand new Trax daytime running lights are flashing non-stop. I was informed it should take a couple of hours so we opted to stay and wait on the vehicle. We drove an hour, as we live in Princeton Kentucky. At 3:00 p.m. I went to see how things were coming along and was informed that they had not even started on the vehicle yet. Nobody came and told us anything during those two hours. I told them to just forget about it and I would take it to another dealership. This was the first and last vehicle that we will purchase from this dealership.

We bought a new 2021 Chevrolet High Country Traverse off of them in 2021. Had a recall on the catalytic convertor, to be replaced by GM, if the bracket to it broke. Of course, it blew out on a 7000 mile trip we were on. Took it in to service at Henderson Chevrolet, after we got back home. We had been there several times for various things on the car. They concocted a story, that the tailpipe was also cracked and needed replaced. That would not be covered and would cost another $1600, above what GM would cover on the original repair. Told them to repair the recall part and we'd see about the tailpipe. Took it to a local exhaust shop and had them look at it, before we had the recall done. He said he'd look at it after the repair. Called Henderson Chevrolet and told them to hold off on the tailpipe repair. They called back the next day, before we took it in and said that there'd been a mistake on the tailpipe parts and there was a $400 core charge on the tailpipe. With the $400 core charge taken off, it would now be $1200 instead of the original $1600. Told Henderson to hold off on the tailpipe. Took it back to the exhaust shop, after the repair and found there was no leak on the tailpipe. This is the most blatant con job from a dealership, I've ever dealt with. I will never darken their doors again and will give them all of the advertisement I can.

do not ever ise henderson chevrolet for any purchase of a vehicle. their customer is terrible. they dont care about you once you purchase the vehicle . i had to choose a star to post. i would say none. no stars

I have been very pleased with it, and the customer service I have received from the dealership, is to November 2023. I experienced an issue @ November 2nd with the vehicle. which resulted in a tow to the dealership, needing the fuel pump replaced. I got the vehicle back @ November 7. On November 9th, I had the same issue as before, resulting in another tow back to the dealership, this time fuel pump relay sensor. They did not have the part and had to order. I had to call after the vehicle had been there a week to find this out. They offered no courtesy vehicle or any other compensation in the interim. Another two weeks went by, I had to call again for an update, i actually inquired about a courtesy vehicle or some kind of compensation for the fact that my vehicle has been setting there since November 9th and is NOT DONE. I quote..."This is a GM issue, this is not the responsibility of the dealership". I said really, the dealership sold me a BRAND NEW VEHICLE and they don't want to make sure I get good customer service... PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO HENDERSON CHEVROLET. They do not care about the customer. I will never recommend anyone to them!!!! Their customer service is lacking, as in NONE!!

Got a flyer in the mail about a contest this company was having. Three sets of pull tabs and on the second set one tab showed three cars. Checked the list and it showed $5000 in cash won. Go to the dealer and as expected they tried to sell me a car ( just like a timeshare program)
Didn't need a car but I had to press another button on a salesman phone like a slot machine and if and only if it showed 4 bananas then I would win the cash. Oh course did not even spin one banana but they did say I won a $1 lottery ticket. Didnt win on ticket either. Their gimmick contest is worse than any carnival game at a fair. Purchased a truck 3 weeks ago. Had the truck for one day and the transmission went out. It has been with the service dept since. It has not been started on yet. We have not received any information on when it will be done. They lost MOST of our finance paperwork and when we asked to just forget about the truck they told us they will keep our 3000 down payment. Asked multiple times to speak with the General Manager who has failed to contact us back. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Not to mention our salesman openly made fun of other customers during our visit there.

My wife and I bought a 2017 Ford edge in February 2022 within 3 days it was overheating and engine light coming on my wife works in Evansville as a special education teacher so after I called them which we are from Princeton in.and I am disabled she took it to them and their answer was put injector cleaner in which she did and didn't help took back again and they said it's fixed but was not,we have called at least 30 times with no return,have asked to speak with owner or his daughter and sent messages no return now we pay monthly and sits in driveway come on Ron Faupel take care of your customers

I wish I could give it a lower rating than 1. The service department is horrible!! No communication at all!! We bought our car on a Saturday. We made an appointment the following Thursday to have the front tires replaced and some dried wax cleaned off as part of the deal. We took it in at 1 which was the appointment time. They acted like they knew nothing about the tires, even though the same person called the day before to confirm the appointment and we went over everything that needed done. She said the service mechanic just went to lunch so they took it to clean the wax off. At 3:30 someone finally talked to us. They said it needed buffed, no sh*t, they said it would take 4 hours. Asked us to come back the next day. We told them we lived an hour and a half away. We asked if they weren't going to go ahead and change the tires. The manager said he didn't know anything about new tires. 20 minutes later he came back and said that they couldn't change the tires that days because the tire changer machine blew up that morning. He said they would give us a car to drive home and they would deliver our car to us the next day when it was done. We heard nothing all day. Around 2 they said it was almost done. At 4 they said it was done and the manager would be delivering himself. So at 6:45 we call to see what's going on and to find out all the service department had left at 5. The salesman said it would be delivered the next morning. We shall see. I would definitely not buy another vehicle from this place and definitely DO NOT recommend anyone buying anything from them. Everyone that came in while we were waiting were complaining about the service department!!

False advertising. Made appointment based on 2018 Chevy Malibu advertised for $16,968. Made in halfway from Nashville before dealer admitted price was error. Website has still not been corrected. Talked to 2 different sales persons. They knew that we were driving from Nashville and that we found them online.

These guys are scam artists!
I took my car in for several warranty repairs and the problems persisted.
So I made a white mark on the part I knew they were "going to replace." I took the car back for repairs and they said they replaced that part. Guess what, the white mark was still on it. I have recently had a very negative experience with Henderson Chevrolet, especially their service department. The main issue was the lack of up front charges that they do not tell the customer about. They were going to charge me almost $600 to fix the alternator in my van, which is entirely their prerogative. I told the service advisor Carlos that it was too much money and that I would have a tow truck bring my car home (I live in Owensboro). When the driver comes to pick up my vehicle there is suddenly an $85 diagnostic fee THAT NO ONE EVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME ABOUT. There was no signage or anything to let me know this fee was applicable. This is nothing more than an underhanded move to get money out of me.
