Hello, Cupcake

Spending some time in Tacoma for the Point Defiance area and we wanted a small snack. Stopped in here and we loved It all! We were quickly greeted by a friendly and helpful woman who was patient with us as we chose what we wanted. She even gave us a free strawberry cupcake sample which we quickly ate and loved, the frosting was full of strawberry flavor and the vanilla cake was moist.
Come here for a snack or 6, like us.

Sometimes I think fancy desserts like these are wasted on me since I am a plain eater. I prefer vanilla cake with a thin layer of frosting. But then I'm reminded that cupcakes can be for everyone!

This darling little shop sticks with one thing rather than trying to do too much. I appreciate that. Each cupcake is a tiny work of art-and you're paying for that beauty. Sure, the flavor is good, but it's the artisan design that warrants the fat bill.

It may not be a daily indulgence, but a stop to celebrate special occasions.

Well hello, sweet tooth! I love the cupcakes here. The store is ADORABLE! The sweet cupcakes are only outdone by the sweet decor and personality of the staff.
We've gotten the mini cupcakes for work events. They can pump out hundreds of cupcakes and they are tasty and fresh.
They have amazing flavors and both mini and regular sized cupcakes. It's a must visit and a must repeat visit!

Cupcakes are good, but the frosting is very sweet and when I bit into it, it reminded me of the edible flowers on a cake from back in the day....biting into sugar, all sugar that it was too painfully sweet. I don't know how one can enjoy all that frosting. It had to be scraped off. I felt like i could develop diabetes after that one bite. However the cupcakes were very good...no frosting is really needed. They were moist and had just the right amount of flavor and sweetness.
Starbucks is next door so we can always get something to wash it all down with.

I was downtown doing some holiday shopping last weekend and I couldn't resist popping in here. I've been here a few times and have always thoroughly enjoyed the cupcakes. I prefer to get the mini ones because then I get more of a variety and can eat six in one sitting. They always taste very fresh and are exactly what you'd expect from a cupcake!

Stopped in for a few birthday cupcakes and had a very pleasant experience with the young woman that helped us narrow down the right choices. This place is absolutely adorable and if this review was based strictly on presentation they would take the cake ;)
Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the cake portion of the cupcakes nor the icing consistency (the icing was super heavy). I hate to be a snob but I was far from impressed with anything other than presentation and service. I tried strawberry and the butter pecan and it simply was not there for me. I could have made a terrible selection but my wife got two as well and she didn't care to finish hers.

As I mentioned in my previous review, I love this place! We had a bad experience with one of the workers, but someone reached out to listen to my concerns. For that I am grateful!

This place is cute, great place to sit down for some coffee and cupcake. The cupcake are cute too. I got a pumpkin spice cupcake with maple cream cheese frosting - the cupcake was moist, but the frosting is definitely on the sweet side. And IMHO, $4 for a cupcake is pricey. They also offer mini cupcakes for $1.95 each.

Hello cupcake was such a cute little cupcake shop. They have a variety of different cupcakes in different flavors that you can also get in mini sizes as well if you wish. They had a lot of people inside so I figured it was good. Lol. They have seasonal flavors that I had a chance to try one and it was actually pretty good. So my husband and I, decided to get four regular sized cupcakes. They were all very delicious and we love them.They do offer military, student, and birthday discounts as well as a rewards program which I think was really cool of them to do it especially in the area they are located in. Overall great customer service, tasty cupcakes, and a overall great experience. Should definitely check them out if you are in the area.
