Ken and his team are amazing! I love how personable they are. I called on a Sunday afternoon and Ken told me to come by and he checked my car out right away. Ken and his team figured out what's wrong with my car and gave me to option to leave it there overnight or bring it back another day since it wasn't super major.

I brought my car back the following Sunday and they serviced my car as requested in a super timely manner.

I will be coming back to Hayward Auto Care for all my auto needs. They made me feel right at home and did not try to sell me on extra services that I didn't need. I am so glad I found them! Where else are you going to find an auto shop open on Sundays!?

1st time visitor to this place. They did a fabulous job replacing my water pump on my 2008 Honda CR-V.

I highly recommend this shop. Had the brakes done on my wife's Honda Civic and a battery replacement on my Audi Q7. Did an exellent job on both. Ken is the man. He's honest and will tell you straight up on your repairs. Finally found my go-to auto shop

I was referred to Ken by my friends. Ken and his wife are very friendly and professional. I had work on my rear brakes and my car feels a lot better and safer on the road. He suggests I return again for front brakes in a few months. I appreciate him checking and letting me know ahead of time.

I needed to get my starter replaced. When I showed up, i signed a form, dropped off my keys in just a few minutes. Went home, waited for a call back the same day came back, paid and left. The service was easy and Ken was very nice (he speaks fluent English and Vietnamese as well). Highly recommend this shop. I will be going back for any future auto work needed.

Came in for a trunk repair cuz my trunk can't be opened, the owner barely touched my car and told me he will need to charge $275 just to have a closer look. After I got home my boyfriend opened it with force and noticed a piece of cloth stucked in the clutch. spared me $275, almost got scammed by this place

I called Ken with an emergency repair that I needed for my Honda CR-V on a Sunday (and Holiday weekend) Morning. My family and I drove up from Los Angeles for the holiday and needed to get back home. The muffler pipe/ catalytic converter pipe had slipped out of its place after we hit a piece of tire on the freeway and it needed to be welded back on. Most other places we called were either closed on Sundays or could not guarantee that the work would be done on the same day. Ken assured me that the work could be done on short notice and confidently told me to bring the car in. Upon arrival, he inspected the car and said with a smile, 'That's easy to fix!' Within about an hour and a half, he called me to come pick it up. He had let me know that the manufacturer's weld did not go all the way around and that he had welded it securely into place. He even told me that his weld had a lifetime guarantee! I will definitely be coming back to Ken and his Service Team when I am back in Hayward. I recommend his services and reasonable pricing. If you enjoy having the mechanic's son take your car for a "test drive" after they work on it, then look no further, this is the shop for you!! Not only will they do that, but they will also try to hide the fact that anything happened when you try to confront them!

My dash cam recording captures the owner and his son taking my car out, doing some nice hard pulls at high speeds down the street. The lady at the counter then calls them letting them know I was there to pick up my car. They frantically come up with a plan to drop the son off at the Subaru dealer down the street and have the owner drive back and pretend like he was "test driving" it. When you confront them about it they will try to turn it on you and the rude lady at the counter will start yelling at you saying they had the right to test drive the car. Indeed you do have the right to test drive the car, but does this mean flooring it down the street? I don't think so.

This was all captured and I tried to be cordial about it when confronting them the next day, but you'd think that after hinting to them that you saw everything they would just suck up their ego and admit to the fault. Not the case here! So if you want scummy liars working on your car this is the place! If not, I suggest you look elsewhere. And to top it all off, as I was initially leaving the shop the rude lady at the counter has the audacity to tell you to recommend the shop to your friends and family. HAH.
